DISILLUSIONED is the continuation of Bianca's wild and crazy ride from the islands to the city.
When last we saw Bianca London, she was fleeing out of a penthouse window, running away from the man she was falling for, the man who kidnapped her and held her captive on a deserted island. Jakob Bradley has done nothing but lie to Bianca, yet time and time again she chose to put her trust in him. But Bianca discovered that things aren't always what they seem on the surface, especially with the Bradley brothers. She was so certain that she knew what Jakob and his brother David's game was, but she's starting to realize she's just a pawn in a larger, more dangerous game.
DISILLUSIONED is the 2nd book in the Swept Away Trilogy and must be read after the 1st book, Illusion. I wasn't sure about the first book, as Bianca was a bit of an idiot, and this book did her no favors either. She continued to get herself involved in things she didn't know anything about…basically acting like every stupid sexy B movie chick ever. You know, the one that runs upstairs when someone's chasing her? Yea.
It's tough to discuss this book with any depth, because any details would give away too many plot points. So, I'll sum this up by saying that the creep factor was through the roof and I waited for the other shoe to drop from beginning to end. The sex was hot, but for me, it took a backseat to trying to figure out just what the hell was going on. There were so many different directions and red herrings in DISILLUSIONED that it sometimes became quite confusing. That said, I'm definitely looking forward to reading the conclusion of Bianca and Jakob's story in the final book, RESOLUTION.
Bottom Line: A wild ride from beginning to end, DISILLUSIONED was a romantic suspense/thriller that made me anxious to read the finale!
