Rhea Gracefield has built up plenty of energy just dying to be released as a Domme. When Carter Jones crosses her path, author Cherie Nicholls sets up a fiery encounter in TRACING HIS HEART.

In this short but fiery read, Rhea shows Jones how much she's changed since the last time they'd met. It's a highly erotic paranormal read complete with a heavy dose of BDSM. Given that the two have a shared past, it's no wonder the pace moved so fast.

As the third in a series, this probably would have been more enjoyable had it been read in sequence. However, there was ample background info to ensure my interest.

Finding a Domme in a storyline is rather unique, but the author did an effective job with Rhea's character. She portrayed a solid mix of strength and vulnerability at the same time.

For a higher score, I would have liked more development.
