Trish Barton works hard and loves to play even harder. Having a career in the rodeo means a lot of travel, providing plenty of challenges for a submissive.
When Trish encounters Jake Keenan in Book 7 of Desiree Holt's Rawhide Series, she's more than willing to spend time with him. The only dilemma is how to figure out if he's interested in anything more than vanilla sex.
In RAWHIDE: LASSOED BY A DOM, the couple can't deny a solid attraction. It's not until they both end up at Rawhide, a BDSM club, that they realize they have very specialized interests in common.
From that point, the chemistry becomes incredibly intense as the two explore the more advanced practices of the lifestyle. Rather than the typical activities featured in similar books, the author shed light on the use of the violet wand and rope play. It was fascinating to read as the scenes developed and Jake and Trish began D/s play.
The storyline delivers a satisfying standalone read, especially as the couple struggles with commitment beyond a moment in time. Like the animals in the arena, Trish just might find herself LASSOED BY A DOM.
