Administrative Assistant Jami Pantano thinks her boss, Tyree James, is super sexy. She knows she can't touch him; going to bed with him would destroy her career. While still fighting her feelings for Ty, Jami meets her friend Gia's brother, Gage, at a party to launch Gia's new fantasy business. Gia plays matchmaker: she gives Jami and Gage a free trip together. It's an immediate success: Jami loves Gage's sweet sexiness, and she falls for him quickly.
Gage soon discovers Jami likes his dirty talk and adventurous bedroom ways, and it makes him bold to propose a threesome. It doesn't take long to convince her that his best friend, TJ, is just the man.
Home from their trip, they plan a night together for the three of them. Having been blindfolded for the sex-play, Jami has no idea that TJ is her boss Tyree. But TJ has known exactly who she was from the moment he walked in the room. Guilt-ridden over taking advantage, TJ decides to apologize but before he can, Jami discovers her mystery lover is actually her boss.
As if an unexpected sex with her boss isn't complication enough, her ex has it in for her, and now she might be falling in love. With her boss andhis best friend.

Who hasn't fantasized about a coworker at one time or another? Something about doing it in a boardroom makes women drool.
Jami Pantano needs to get laid. Preferably by her sexy boss Tyree James…except she won't go there…ever. When her BFF Gia Deveroe sets her up with her brother Gage, Jami is hesitant to say the least, especially since Gia's idea of a first date is a week away in the mountains of Kentucky. They both reluctantly agree, secretly looking forward to finding out if their initial chemistry was a one shot deal. Even stuck with this sweet and incredibly delicious man, thoughts of Ty isn't far from Jami's mind, likely because of the threesome fantasy she shared with Gage. But things like that don't happen in real life. Do they?
I really wanted to like HER BOSS'S BEST FRIEND. I mean, honestly, how can you go wrong with 2 gorgeous guys paying a woman all the attention? Unfortunately, this book left me frustrated, and not in a good way. This story felt so disjointed and pieced together, with repetitive sentences, out of order actions, details shared and seemingly forgotten then repeated again. And, yes, it's erotic romance, so naturally you have to suspend SOME reality, right? But I found it hard to believe that, a) Gage didn't know his sister's BFF (you'd think they'd have met at Gia's wedding, or one of these famous parties she's always throwing), b) that TJ and Gage couldn't figure out what was going on with Jami's ex (especially since she told them bits and pieces of his stalkerish and abusive behavior), and c) none of them put 2 and 2 together and came up with who the 3 of them were (I mean, the name of his company is TJ Enterprises, for Pete's sake!!).
And speaking of 3, there was more talking about the threesome than actually doing it. They didn't come together until 3/4 of the way through the book and even then there were barriers put in place to protect identities. GAAAAHH! Look, HER BOSS'S BEST FRIEND wasn't horrific, and it truly does have potential if some massive editing was undertaken. But as it stands, I have little to recommend about this read.
Bottom Line: I recommend skipping this confusing MFM read. There's plenty of other books out there that'll satisfy your craving for sex, storyline and suspense.
