4.5 "Hot Developments" Stars! Wow, this series just keeps getting steamier and steamier! I also love how the suspense aspect of this read is really starting to take a crucial role in the unfolding of the story. I can't wait to continue on to part 4 to see how Derek and Frankie navigate the multiple obstacles that seem to continue to get in the way of their undeniable hot chemistry-filled bond.

Please note that this is part 3 of a 5-part serial that must be read in order. This review may therefore contain spoilers for the prior parts. If you have not yet started this series, see my review of the first part.

Part 3 pretty much picks up where part 2 leaves off. Misunderstandings continue to abound and get in the way of what Frankie and Derek both want, irrespective of the fact that both have multiple reasons why a relationship with each other will never work.

Further complicating matters are the hidden motivations and agendas of Reed, Frankie's ex-boyfriend, and Hayden, Derek's sister. Derek's competition and plotting against his father is also taking its toll. Moreover, Frankie receives potentially career altering news, but it may come with a price.

Can Derek and Frankie possibly find a way to have each other and everything else they want? I can't wait to read part 4 to continue to uncover the true extent of the hidden agendas and true motivations and to see if Derek and Frankie will get their HEA.
