ABOUT A VAMPIRE was yet another delightful novel in the Argeneau Series by the always amazing Lynsay Sands! I enjoyed it so much. I've been waiting for this one and I am happy to say that the Ms. Sands did not disappoint in her delivery. Justin Bricker finally finds his lifemate and finds himself in an untenable situation because she is already taken.

First up in this review is how much I adored the wonderful characters. Bricker was a great hero who ended up being sweeter and a bit more naive than I'd anticipated. Hotter and with an even better sense of humor. Some things come back to bite him, and I enjoyed the comical situations that it caused. Holly being married set the story up for loads of angst and drama. So Justin's many charming and bumbling attempts at wooing (along with the sizzling lifemates chemistry) caused plenty of guilt and frustration.

Holly has the shared dreams and it feels like she's betraying her husband. The situation blows up and she returns home determined to stay with James, even as she starts to see (and hear) their relationship differently. I liked the way things were resolved and how sensitively Ms. Sands handled everything.

As usual, the storytelling was excellent and the writing was flawless. The plot moved at a fast pace and remained as engaging and fresh as I've come to expect from this author. Things had to happen a bit differently this time around though. I did miss the fainting sex (LOL) but it was still a steamy read in its own way.

I loved reading this fantastic continuation of the series. It's a lovely lighthearted romp, a perfect mix of paranormal romance and humor. Looking forward to the next book in this series. It's Five Flying Stars!!!
