Book 2 of Blood Slaves
BDSM, Erotic Romance, LGBTQ, Ménage or more, Paranormal Romance, Vamps & Shifters Romance

Rafe is a vampire and Adam is his human blood slave. But Rafe wants more—a blood bond. Adam, not willing to join the vampire world, leaves it all behind and heads for DC and a new life.

Back in town for the holidays, Adam and Rafe rekindle their romance and head to the local fetish club, The Catacombs, where Adam is known as Iron Man because of his hardware—a steel cock plug and chain harness. They spend the week having wild, aggressive, kinky-as-hell sex. Anything goes.

When it's time to return to the real world, Adam is torn. Rafe is more than a vampire, more than his lover. He's his partner. Adam isn't sure he can give up his humanity, even for the man he loves. He has to decide—a vampire blood bond or his lonely human life in DC?

Note: Two sexy men in a fetish club can get into a lot of kinky situations, so be prepared for anything, including all-male, multiple-partner bondage sex and orgies in very public places.

Each of us makes difficult decisions every day. Sometimes we're protecting others. Occasionally we're protecting ourselves.

When Adam Cross makes the decision to leave his vampire lover Rafe Ramos and move to Washington D.C., he is protecting his humanity. Rafe wants Adam in his life permanently, and that means Adam would have to leave his family behind and become a vampire—something he will never do.

Adam returns to Denver for the Christmas holidays. When he learns Rafe's mother passed away, he visits Rafe to offer his condolences—and realizes Rafe hasn't been feeding. Adam offers his blood, and then himself.

Their mutual attraction hasn't faded, and they resume their relationship as if nothing has changed—except Adam and Rafe both know Adam will leave again after the holidays. They visit the fetish Catacombs together and participate in their favorite BDSM rooms.

When the vampire Theron, owner of the Catacombs, offers Rafe a job as his sentinel, Adam is terrified something will happen to Rafe—but with Rafe's mother gone and Adam leaving, Rafe sees no reason to stay in the human world.

Adam hates the thought of Rafe living solely among the vampires and feeding from other blood slaves. He must decide whether living life alone as a human is worth walking away from Rafe, the only man he loves.

I loved IRON MAN. Ms. Waters has created a strong, complex relationship between Adam and Rafe. Their pain and frustration became a palpable emotion that leapt from the page. Love always requires risk, and Adam and Rafe showed how much they were willing to sacrifice for each other.

The plotline carried equally strong sexual and intellectual elements. Heavy bondage scenes created an interesting and titillating erotic atmosphere. The addition of a murder/mystery subplot gives more background information on Theron and the vampire sect without overshadowing Adam and Rafe's story.

I am thoroughly invested in Ms Waters' Blood Slaves series and can't wait to read the next book. If you enjoy complex relationships, filled with plenty of conflict and sinfully hot bondage, you'll be as invested as I am!
