Erotic Romance, LGBTQ

Stood up by her boyfriend, she goes home with a woman…

Straight-laced coed Angie has never felt daring enough to…experiment. Until tonight. The skin around Heather's lips is soft, unlike the stubble Erik lets grow in, and the night unfolds like an erotic dream, tapping into an unexplored part of Angie's body and mind.

But Heather's seduction turns into a nightmare when Angie wakes up tied to the bed and is told she can't leave. Alternately seduced and tormented by her lover-turned-captor, Angie is pulled ever deeper into a twisted world of pain-for-pleasure and voyeuristic exploits. As the stakes rise, both women give into a desire for connections neither has had, and Angie's struggle to escape becomes a bigger dilemma: Would she leave if she could?

Winner of the Golden Palm Contest for New Adult Romance, this erotic thriller dares to explore the darker side of our fantasies and their sometimes unintended consequences.

What could be worse than being stood up by your boyfriend? Don't ask. It's worse. Far worse; in this dark thriller by S.L. Hannah. THE NEED is an erotic thriller that you will either find scintillating in all its darkness or want to keep the light on.

When we meet Angie, Erik, her boyfriend, has stood her up and Heather steps in, offering to buy her a drink. The two women have a great night together (sorry, Erik) until…Angie wakes up the next morning and Heather informs her that she can't leave.

This story has all the elements of a great erotic thriller and while the sex scenes are both fantastic and frightening in many ways (S&M), the entire story is so compelling that you won't be able to put it down.

From the power struggle that exists between the two women (marvelous dominance and submission) to Angie's internal struggles and her own growth (emotionally/psychologically), THE NEED is a fast read despite the subject matter. The psychological aspects are what will keep you turning the pages. While yes, it is indeed a very sexy erotic piece with smartly written kink that is equal parts pleasure and pain for both Angie and the readers, the complexity of the story will leave you eager for S.L. Hannah's next story.
