If only he wasn't so good at being bad…
The Bradfords, Book 1
Dr. Ben Torres, better-than-a-Boy-Scout, surgeon extraordinaire, has been interested in ER nurse Jessica Bradford—and her bright red peek-a-boo thong—for a long time now. But punching a patient in the nose—and the subsequent suspension—is probably not the best way to get on her good side.
Or is it?
Jessica is one step away from the big promotion she's worked for all her professional life, and now everything rides on her ability to keep Dr. Perfect—aka handsome, heroic Ben—on a short leash until the potential lawsuit blows over. And to keep her raging crush on him under wraps.
First order of business is to pry her knight in shining scrubs' perfect ass off a bar stool. Except he refuses to move until she agrees to—and then loses—a bet for 48 hours of her undivided attention.
It's all downhill from there. And despite herself, Jessica can't help but give in to the temptation to go down with him…
Warning: Contains hot love in a store dressing room and in the front seat of a car—at the expense of a very nice strawberry patch, unfortunately—oh, and hooker boots. Can't forget the hooker boots.

JUST RIGHT is a heartwarming romance of a surgeon who has lost his way and the woman who leads him back.
After one too many patients who didn't treasure the gift of life he'd given them, Ben Torres gives up. He turns his back on medicine to work in a coffee shop. Jessica Bradford doesn't understand this. Ben has so much talent, so much heart to give; how could he not want to work in medicine just like that? She was ordered by their boss to stick to Ben, make sure he doesn't get into trouble and to do whatever she can to get him to go back. She doesn't realize just how much this new assignment was going to take from her...
Seeing Ben through Jessica's eyes, I can understand how and why she would fall for Ben. The man is absolutely brilliant. Not only that, but even working in the coffee shop, his heart is in the right place, as he organized health talks using this venue. He has such heart for his patients, and this is something I wish all doctors possess. Ben is a seriously swoon-worthy hero.
Jessica herself is a wonderful heroine. She just keeps on giving, with no thought to protecting herself. I guess it's because she's got a wonderful role model in her father. And the two of them together is just dynamite.
The secondary cast of characters are a hoot, especially the guys at the start, when they were "helping" Ben when he seemed to have a breakdown. I can't wait to read their stories and meet the women who will hold their hearts.
Overall, this is a great story and wonderful first book in the series!
