SUMMARY
Boomer Steele is big. He's bad. He's the Retribution MC pres. He's been dealt the worst hand imaginable and bears the scars inside and out. Not that anyone knows it. He's watched his younger brother and sister hook up and hitch up with the loves of their lives, and now he's the last Steele standing alone. Maybe he should keep it that way.

Then one feisty honey makes him feel, gets in his grill, pisses him off.

She goes by the name of Rayce. And that's exactly what she does on her motocross bike when she's not busy getting her hands dirty with her fellow grease monkeys as the only female mechanic at Stone's Garage. She's into fixing bikes, racing hers, and making Boomer's life a living hell just for the fun of it. Oh, and she hates being treated like a girl.

Sparks flying? That's an understatement where these two are concerned. Yet when Rayce needs a place to live, and Boomer offers her a room in his house, their unquenchable attraction wins out over antagonism. Sometimes. Rayce's crappy upbringing makes her think love is for stupid fools asking for heartbreak. She's not willing to go there for any man. Not even Boomer Steele.

The bigger they are, the harder they fall.

*Note to readers: this book addresses the issue of domestic abuse.

Boomer Steele has had a serious hard on for the delectable pixie-sized grease monkey Rayce Lafayette since he met her. Thwarted at every turn, he's determined to catch this woman, but Rayce doesn't want to be caught. Correction: she wants to be DATED. Boomer doesn't "date." He has sex. BUT, he'd go to the moon and back for racy Rayce. The two commit some serious, months-long foreplay, Boomer's case of blue balls becoming pretty damn epic. But he knows that Rayce is worth waiting for…and more, worth killing for.

CHROME: WITH A HEART FORGED IN STEELE is book 4 in the Carolina Bad Boys series of raunchy, raw and dirrrrrty southern men and the women who love to ride them. UGH, I swear, each book I read by Ms. Warren gets better than the last, and CHROME: WITH A HEART FORGED IN STEELE was simply sublime. This series (and its offshoot Bad Boys of Retribution MC series) are told from the dude's POV, and DAMN is it freakin' hysterical and hot hot HOT!!! It's like Ms. Warren has a guy living in her head, because she is SPOT ON. The ball scratching, fight clubbing, eye fucking and everything in between just scream legit, and I couldn't love her any more than I already do.

Rayce's a badass mechanic and motocross riding chick who wants to be wooed; Boomer's this huge MC president who grows a vagina to do so. Their banter is funny and light, but there's a dark undercurrent to their relationship that intrigued me, as Rayce's dad was beyond reprehensible. I won't give away any of the storyline, but sufficed to say it's hard to read in some places. Ms. Warren writes her trials with grace and heart and surrounds it with a serious punch of heat and family (the kind you create yourself).

One of the things I liked best about this novel is that it didn't rush through with an insta-relationship. The two dated and got to know each other and created this unbreakable bond, and I loved every minute of it. As usual, I'll be chomping at the bit for another taste of southern fried hottie!

Bottom Line: Another FANTASTIC Carolina Bad Boys read that'll make you drool and swoon and wish you had your very own motorcycle riding bad boy on your arm.
