Contemporary Romance, Erotic Romance

The men of Twisted Steel are great with their hands.

And they're not afraid to get dirty.

Mick Roberts, the newest partner at Twisted Steel's custom hotrod and motorcycle shop, looks like a man with everything. But secretly he still craves the connection he lost when his best friend Adam and the love of his life Jessilynn walked out. Then, he wasn't ready for the pleasure they promised. Now, things have changed.

Rich, powerful, and insatiable, Adam Gulati is used to getting what he wants. And there's nothing he wants more than Mick and Jessi. He hasn't seen either in over a year, but the second he sets eyes on them again his memories-and his desires-can't be denied.

After trying to live without them, Jessi Franklin realized no one else can satisfy her like Adam and Mick. The three of them need one another-in more ways than one. It's time to stop pretending and submit to the hunger they all share. But once they go down this road, there's no turning back. As deeply devoted as they are, no one knows what great bliss their forbidden fantasy will find-or the price they may pay...

COMING BACK had everything I look for in an erotic romance: an inked up bad boy gone good, check. A wealthy dominant who doesn't take himself too seriously (even whilst wielding a whip), check. A woman who can make said dudes so crazy with lust that they fall all over themselves to be with her, check. Add in a fab group of friends, some diabolical meanies and the guys gettin' it on with each other just as much as with the chick, and you've got one smokin' read that'll leave you begging for more!!

Four years ago, Jessilynn Franklin was left brokenhearted when her best friends and lovers left her, Mick Roberts to reenlist back in the army and Adam Gulati because he needed to get his shit together. Now, all three of them are back in Seattle, and Jessi is done with the longing, the guilt and the what-if's. She's ready to reclaim her men, and nothing is going to stand in her way.

Both Mick and Adam know they royally fucked up when they left Jessi four years ago, but Jessi isn't about to listen to their self-recriminations. They've known each other since they were kids, and now they're older, wiser and better able to handle a threesome relationship than they would've been had they stayed together. But their families are another matter, as both of the men's families are vehemently against their unconventional relationship. But family is what you make it, and Jessi's family and Mick's Twisted Steel friends fill that void perfectly.

If you've read any of my reviews, you know that I have a not so secret obsession with MMF erotic romance, so I was sooooo excited to finally get to COMING BACK, book 3 in the Ink & Chrome series. These three characters were so brilliantly written that I couldn't put this book down from just about the minute I picked it up. From Jessi's kooky and kinky personality, Adam's "debonair dom" persona and Mick's need to punish his body to make up for his perceived sins, all three of them were well developed, empathetic and had a surprising depth that I haven't seen in the other books in this series. Plus it was crazy hot. Witness:

"The things I want to do to you..." He nearly snarled.

"Are all pretty damned fun so far as I've experienced."

"I want to rut. I want to mark you. Bruise your skin. Bite you. I want to see rope marks in your flesh. I want my come all over your tits. Your face. I want to debauch you. You should be afraid."

But she wasn't.

Oh it hot in here or is it just me?? WHEW! Beyond the fabulous chemistry the trio had, the witty yet poignant banter and the mother effer' variety dads of the dudes, the sex was beyond delicious! Because I read this in paperback form, I frequently lamented not being able to easily hold the book and flip pages with just one hand, as I really could've used some extra digits during some of those scenes! It's official: Ms. Dane has moved into my exclusive "Authors to Auto-Buy" list. The trophy is in the mail!

Bottom Line: I know it's probably a pipe dream, but I sincerely hope that Ms. Dane keeps going with the Ink & Chrome series, as Twisted Steel has no shortage of inked up dirrrrrrrty boys just begging to have their stories told. BUT, if this IS the final book, then it's a fabulous culmination of an uber terrific series that'll leave you swooning over dudes in coveralls when you least expect it.
