SEASIDE LOVERS is a USA TODAY BESTSELLER
Seaside Summers is a series of stand-alone romances that may also be enjoyed as part of the larger Love in Bloom series.
In SEASIDE LOVERS
After months of long-distance communication, actress Parker Collins and artist Grayson Lacroux finally plan to reconnect in the seaside town of Wellfleet, Massachusetts. But Parker never shows, and weeks pass without a word, leaving Grayson to believe he's misinterpreted their budding relationship.
Parker has been running on autopilot ever since she lost her friend, mentor, and the only family she's ever known, Bert Stein. Armed with junk food, tequila, and her big, lovable dog, she's prepared to hole up and mourn--and determined to mend a fence Bert had never been able to with his estranged and bitter brother. But Parker didn't count on the sinfully hot artist she's been fantasizing about for nearly a year walking in on her grief-induced drunken night.
When Grayson stumbles across Parker, he has no idea what to make of the gorgeous blonde who blew him off despite the heat sizzling between them. But that doesn't stop him from feeling protective of the woman who's consumed his thoughts for months, and when he learns of Parker's plans to confront an angry old man, he refuses to leave her side. As Parker's past unfolds, they're led on an unexpected journey of discovery. Their connection deepens, and late-night fantasies become passionate realities, until good intentions spark painful secrets, threatening the love they've found.
Seaside Summers is part of Melissa Foster's bestselling big-family romance collection, Love in Bloom. All Love in Bloom series books may be enjoyed as stand-alone novels, or as part of the larger series.

Grayson helps Parker find her family in SEASIDE LOVERS.
Parker (Polly) Collins, the famous actress, is in mourning for Bert Stein, her mentor and pseudo-father. She has retreated to Wellfleet to eat chocolate, watch horror movies and mourn in private. She also wants to connect with Bert's brother Abe and fix the estrangement between them before he too dies. In the midst of her grief, Parker forgot that she invited Grayson Lacroux to the Wellfleet house to build a railing for her. She and Grayson have been e-mailing each other for months, ever since he won the contract to build the homes for the Parker Collins Children's foundation and Parker wants to know if the connection they've formed is real. When Grayson walks into her grief party, she gets the chance to find out.
Grayson cleans Parker up and puts her to bed. When she gets up in the morning, he insists on coming with her so that she doesn't have to face Abe alone. As Parker and Grayson get closer, they can't help falling in love. But when Grayson does something without her knowledge, something that could potentially affect her, can their relationship survive his betrayal?
SEASIDE LOVERS is a bland read as Grayson and Parker fall in love before the novel even starts and have their one major argument in the last few pages. In the bulk of the novel, they float along on a new relationship high that is very cute but not very interesting to read about. The situation with Abe also ends up being easily and quickly resolved. Most of the story is one great date after another broken up with hot sex.
This is a good read for a day at the beach when you have other things on your mind. In spite of including several deaths, the novel stays on the surface of events. If you want to escape to a fantasy land where bad things never last and love means every day is sunny, then check this out.
