Sometimes the only way to mend a broken heart is to get back in the saddle. At least that is how Daphne's friends see it. And since Daphne isn't showing any signs of letting that happen, they take it into their own hands. With a few shots of liquid courage, a pat on the ass, and a donated gold card, Daphne is unwillingly sent into a fantasy room to meet her creature of the night, Connor.

Unique and original, the HOUSEOF IMMORTAL PLEASURES was a fun read.
Daphne's friends know just the way to help heal Daphne's tattered heart: the famed vampire brothel, House of Immortal Pleasures, of course! The sexy vampires are there to satisfy their clients' every need, and it is just what Daphne needs, even if she doesn't know it. So they cart her away, blindfolded and apprehensive, for the night of her life.
I was delightfully surprised to find myself invested in the outcome for both Daphne and Connor. Would Daphne actually sample what the House had to offer? Would Connor have his resolution? I found myself rooting for Daphne to pay for sex (shocked myself!), and loving Connor's funny dialogue in the beginning. There is a mini-conflict within the story that added a little intrigue to the story, as well.
House of Immortal Pleasures by Katie Salidas is like a quickie romp; totally fun, sexy, and leaves you wanting more! Daphne is a relatable and enjoyable female character, and our vampire, Connor, is equal parts sweet and sexy. My favorite thing about the story was the idea of a vampire brothel. I have read many vampire novels, and I loved the originality of the brothel angle! If it were a series, I would read them all!
