"Fuck, I want to corrupt you in the wickedest of ways and completely ruin you in the best possible ones."
Hot damn...intense, obsessive and raw, UNDENIABLY ASHER is a wildly erotic and swoonworthy read.
Alyse Kingsley's life hasn't exactly been all rainbows and unicorns. She had to grow up hard and fast, and she's more than a little jaded. She's also struggling to keep her auditing business afloat, so when her future brother-in-law's brother offers her a lucrative job, it would be foolish to turn it down. Soon, Alyse and Asher Colloway can't keep their hands off each other, falling hard and fast and with their entire souls. But both of them have damaged pasts that cast big shadows on their intense relationship. Between Asher's distrust of women and Alyse's feeling that everyone will leave, can they bury their pasts and move on to a future together?
UNDENIABLY ASHER is the deliciously sexy second book in the Colloway Brothers series, and I was so excited to read the grumpy, broody Asher's story. Asher was romantic and sweet and dominant, with a hairpin trigger that should've put Alyse off, but she was inexplicably attracted to his possessiveness and Alpha ways. Alyse should've told him her secrets, especially since he's known her for so long, but I like how the scene played out with her past and present (which was a totally fucked up, btw). The two of them were so hot together, raw and raunchy and erotic and delicious!
I kept hoping for the secrets between her and her sister Livia to come to light to help heal them both, and I wasn't disappointed. However I thought their conversation was too glossed over and implied instead of told. Even so, there were twists I totally didn't see coming in UNDENIABLY ASHER, making it another winner in the Colloway Brothers series!
Bottom Line: This can be read as a stand alone, but it's best to start at the beginning of the series to get the full emotional impact. Plus, this book is HAWT...can't ask for a whole lot more!
