Contemporary Romance, Erotic Romance, Paranormal Romance, Vamps & Shifters Romance
A male leopard shifter runs alone, wild and untamed, until a female decides he's worth her time to train. Which is why Chantelle Drap sees no reason to settle down. She likes her males nasty and dirty, rough and wild…the rougher the better.
When rumors fly of an urban legend—gathering all leopards with visions, wanting to collar them, so he can create a stronger race—Chan's world turns upside down. She doesn't know who to trust, or when she will be attacked.
No matter where she turns though, Josh Bard is right there. His job is to bring Chan in. But Josh has his own agenda, is determined to keep her by his side, in his bed. She is his match in every way. Her scent thrills him, her aggressiveness spikes his wild side. Josh informs her that in truth it is the male who trains the female to submit and not the other way around. While Josh and Chan fight for control of seduction, they also find themselves fighting for their way of life.

VISION CAPTURED is a fast-paced, super-charged, lust-filled erotic romance that had me hooked from word one!
Chan is a leopard shifter who likes her life--it's solitary but she's surrounded by unsuspecting humans. She doesn't want people to know that she's different and has visions of the future.
Josh is a leopard shifter as well, but he's a hunter--one who is to hunt down his own kind to protect their race as well as humans. Josh has been sent to find Chan and bring her to the infamous Leo Pard, who is said to be collecting leopards with special powers to breed a new super race. But when Josh meets and catches the scent of this extremely independent female, he realizes he'll do whatever is in his power to keep her with him forever.
There were so many fantastic aspects to this book. The world-building was phenomenal. This world of shifters that exists alongside of the human one. They have their own rules and ways of living, and it was interesting to see how the author made that fit in the world that we recognize as our own.
The characters in the book were also amazingly written. Our main characters, Chan and Josh, made the story for me. Chan was strong, independent, hilariously snarky, but very vulnerable due to a traumatic childhood. Josh was very alpha but willing to bend somewhat to do what needed to be done to please and protect his female--which made him that much more sexy. They butt heads, but they have amazing chemistry that just jumps off the page.
The secondary characters also helped make the story so enjoyable. This Leo Pard is quite the nutcase but he was a very memorable character. I'm sure we'll be seeing more of him in the other books. There were also other leopard shifters as well as owl shifters and coyotes that helped round out the story and the world which Lorie O'Clare so deftly built.
The plot held great suspense and was fast-paced as well as action-packed. I couldn't put the story down once I started because I was too afraid to miss something.
I'd be remiss if I didn't talk about how erotic the sex scenes were. There is something so "other" about shifters. It must be the way they acknowledge that basic animal part of them. The sex was sometimes rough, sometimes rushed, sometimes sweet, but always very HOT!
All in all, this book was great. With fantastic world-building, hot sex, great characters and an intense roller coaster ride of a plot, VISION CAPTURED kept me entranced from beginning to end.
