Briony DuBois had no choice but to make a deal with a newly-freed convict who now holds her future in his hands in this spectacular paranormal romance.
Sebastian Anderson feels a strange draw to the witch that he promised to help and the readers can't help but become caught up in all the excitement as that promise turns his life upside down. Briony and Sebastian has some sizzling chemistry going on between them but this relationship is cursed to end before it begins unless Sebastian can keep that promise. This caused emotional turmoil as well as intrigue, drawing the readers into these strong, bewitching characters' lives while the fast paced and smooth flowing plot keeps them hanging on to the edge of their seat with lots of suspense, excitement and romance.
The promise catches readers' attention and builds up the intrigue as readers wait with breathless anticipation to find out just what this promise entails, Meanwhile, chaos is getting ready to rule supreme in the Crescent City as a powerful force threatens not only the city and everyone Briony and Sebastian care about but every creature in the world unless they can join forces to defeat it, which keeps adrenaline pumping excitement growing. There is never a dull moment throughout the well written scenes with quite a few unexpected surprises along the way to keep readers guessing just what will happen next.
Every exhilarating experience with the Crescent City Creatures draws me deeper into their world, making it so I never want to leave all the wonderful characters and their fascinating world. To make things even better, Briony and Sebastian's story added a few interesting and different magical elements that added flair to their story. This also built up some heavy-duty curiosity regarding Alexander, which means I will be waiting on pins and needles for the next book.

He has his powers back and now has to make good on a promise. She needs his help with an enemy bent on destroying her. Together they will face the greatest battle of their lives. The consequences of failure are catastrophic for them all.
Sebastian is a wolf shifter that enjoys spending time with beautiful women but business and pack come first. After losing his powers for protecting his sister, he finally has them back. Their alpha is going on a honeymoon so it is up to the rest of the pack to keep everyone safe. He still owes a special favor to a witch that has been getting more and more of his attention lately. She asked him to help her defeat a warlock that has caused her to lose many of her powers. His desire for her is unexpected. She is not his usual type but he can't seem to resist her. The warlocks are dangerous enemies but he rarely resists a challenge.
Briony is a witch that made a bad decision about a man. She has faced serious consequences for her poor judgement. Briony is a kind woman who never wants to harm others. She loves to create spells that will protect those she cares about and dresses like a flower child for the most part. She feels the connection to Sebastian and knows they belong together. The timeline for taking care of the warlock who bound her powers is getting smaller and Briony is beginning to realize that many more are at risk if the warlocks are not taken care of quickly. She has to make many changes in her life and take great risks in order to keep the community safe from harm. These changes are okay with her as long as Sebastian is by her side.
ENSPELLED is the third book in the Crescent City Creatures series. This series features shifters, fairies, sirens, banshees, witches, and warlocks that live under the radar of the humans. There are many power struggles and you have to be strong to survive in this city. I would recommend reading the books in order. The books build upon one another and many characters who are part of the storyline were introduced in the previous books.
The series excels at mixing magic and love. Each of the members of the pack has been finding their mates just as their powers are returned to them. The mate they get are not always the one they would have chosen but the one that is the best at balancing their magic. This book in particular has a lot of foreshadowing of the future of the series. The story leaves you with a great deal of information about the upcoming battles they face and explains more about why earlier events occurred. You will definitely want to read the next book to see what is next for the clan.
The Crescent City Creatures series is a series that features all kinds of supernaturals trying to co-exist with each other and the humans in the city. There is a powerful group of warlocks that want control over the others and don't care who is harmed in the battle. Briony is a victim of one warlock, and Sebastian and the wolves are her only hope of regaining control of her life. The powerful attraction they feel for one another is unexpected. It unites them before they face one of the biggest battles of their lives. The books in the series are best read in order. This book provides a lot of information about what is next for the growing clan in their battles to keep the city safe from harm. It is a series that continues to get stronger with each book.
