Erotic Romance, Paranormal Romance, Vamps & Shifters Romance
Megan has worked her ass off to become the future owner of Pierce's Lair. But the previous owner, now dead, pulled a fast one. But she's not going down without a fight! When Thad arrives to take control, the sparks don't fly, they explode. Battle for the bar turns into lust of the body. What begins as hostile turns into hedonistic.
Thad upholds leopard shifter code. He is a hunter, trained to protect and police his species. When his sire dies, he is honor-bound to take the bar despite Megan's repeated verbal and bodily attacks. Taming one hot little redhead with the most tantalizing scent to drive a male into sexual rampage should be easy and provide good entertainment. Females are meant to be domesticated.
But poor Thad is about to learn to never underestimate the carnal intensity of a female leopard.

This book really had it all. Great characters, amazing world building, sweet romance, erotic love scenes, and plenty of shifter action. It was an intense ride with emotions all over the map, but I enjoyed every second of it!
Taking place about a year after the first book, VISION FULFILLED is the second book in the Leopard Visions Series by Lorie O'Clare. You don't have to read the first book to understand this one as the author does a great job of filling in background.
Megan had worked at Pierce's Lair with the hope of taking the bar over one day soon. But when Jacob Pierce dies, he leaves the bar not to her, but to his cub, Thad, who she never even heard of. She's pissed to no end to think that everything she's worked for has been taken from her, but even more pissed to find out that she's insanely attracted to the rogue male.
Thad is a hunter. Owning a business is like putting him in a cage. He is only taking over Pierce's Lair to honor his sire's wishes, but he doesn't want to stay there. That is until he meets Megan. The sassy female is fierce and the attraction is undeniable. And when trouble comes sniffing their way, he knows that he wants her by his side forever.
Megan is a fantastic heroine. She's been hurt before and she's suffered great loss. Through all of that though, she made a life for herself and was willing to fight for it when Thad came strolling into town. So what if she also wanted him something fierce as well? She's only 23 in this book, and with everything that she's been through, you can tell she's much more mature than that.
Thad we met in book one, but we didn't really get a sense of who he was then. He is much more than what he seems on the surface. He's filled with honor and loyalty, and his single-minded determination to get Megan was sexy as hell. The two of them just seemed evenly matched and perfect for each other. I loved watching them come together as a couple, especially since they started out as adversaries. I also get tickled when I see the male character come to terms with love faster than the female. Watching Thad try to catch Megan for good was just incredibly sweet.
The sexual tension between the couple and the eventual release of that tension was extremely sensual and erotic. I love the way that Lorie O'Clare keeps the leopard part of the characters' nature very apparent even when they are in human form, and that also comes out as well during those sexual encounters. It's very hot--that primal and savage need they seem to have for each other.
This is a continuation of a series, and the world-building is still amazing. There is this new network of leopard shifters fighting against a common enemy. And this is happening all while the humans have no idea what's going on. Watching the way that plays out really draws me into the world. Add that to the fact that the plot has an abundance of suspense and an immense amount of action, it's impossible to put the book down.
Eroticism, suspense, action, and romance all collide to make the VISION FULFILLED a fantastic read. The ending was a bit open-ended as we know that we haven't heard the end of the bad guys, so I can't wait to jump right into book three!
