Leopard Visions, Book Four

Tore Mann is one of the most powerful hunters among all leopards. That doesn't mean he has the strength to fight Maurie Sheridan. Or the will to curb the incredible carnal lust that burns him alive every time he picks up her scent. Maurie might be a small female, but she attacks with tooth and claw and doesn't bother to ask questions later. She's one hot little female, and Tore will make her his mate. He'll endure her feisty nature because he doesn't doubt for a moment he can tame her.

Maurie will attack any male who comes near her litter. She's successfully protected herself and her littermates since her parents were killed when she was a teenager. But she can't fight the intense desire building inside every time she attacks Tore. Worse yet, every time they fight, the sex is even hotter. There isn't any stopping the craving that fills her whenever Tore is near.

This book was so hot, I truly felt my like my eyebrows got singed! VISION LUST has an absolute perfect mix of romance, eroticism, action, and intrigue.

VISION LUST is the fourth book in the Leopard Vision series, and the series just keeps on getting better. This book was so amazing because I really didn't think that I would like the heroine. But Lorie O'Clare did a phenomenal job in bringing out the best qualities in a character who seemed quite loathsome in the previous book.

This book puts Tore Mann against Maurie Sheridan, and the heat between them was truly only matched by the hatred Maurie tried so hard to portray for him. Tore is a hunter, one of the oldest and strongest. He loves his life as a single male who can go sniff out a situation that needs investigating in a moment's notice. He's seen how his fellow hunters have found mates recently and how their lives have changed. He wants no part of that. But he can't deny that Maurie is really hot. He wouldn't mind having her under him for a while.

Maurie has had to make some hard decisions in her life. She's the oldest member of the family after she and her sisters lost her parents at a young age. She's always protected and taken care of her sisters even when she would rather have had a life for herself. She's not going to let some overbearing leopard like Tore come in a take over her life, no matter how much he turns her on, and definitely no matter that he's the hottest male she's ever seen.

Ohmigod, Tore and Maurie were like a match to a flame. Whether they are fighting or lovin', they go all out. They are absolutely perfect for each other. Neither one of them would be satisfied with a mate that they could run all over. They need the challenge, and challenge they did. They were so explosive and so intense, I actually had to fan myself a few times. They are both such strong characters who have more to them than what's originally shown. I loved discovering the depth of their characters.

I really liked how the overall story is developing in this series. There are a few mysteries still left to solve, but we've also gotten a lot of information as well. This is the fourth book, and while you could read it as a standalone, the whole series is so great that I think you'd be missing out on a good read if you don't start from the beginning.

The world-building is phenomenal. It's been built upon in each successive book in the series, and this one is no exception. Revisiting this world is like getting caught up with old friends. And I love getting a chance to see some of the previous couples and how their lives have been since mating.

So, another great book by Lorie O'Clare. VISION LUST is one of my favorites of the series. With its fantastic characters, explosive chemistry, eroticism that's off the charts, and continuation of amazing world building, it was a magnificent read!
