SUMMARY
‘Wherever depravity knocks, he will answer. Whenever Z knocks, he will kill.'

For Z, prostitution is a way of life, but it's also become his prison. Desperate to forget his ugly existence, even if it's only once a week, he confides in a john—a mysterious but kind man named Brody. Every Friday night they talk until the early morning hours. Brody is altruistic, giving him the attention he craves and, in time, they cultivate a unique bond.
For Brody, he's found something special in Z—an innate charm and pure view of the world—qualities he can appreciate. He's grown fond of Z and comfortable with their routine, but he knows it will soon come to an end.
Fueled by curiosity, Z follows Brody through the city to a dance club. He wants to learn all he can about his unusual client. However, he discovers more than he bargained for—a dark unsettling secret is hidden in a back room, a secret he can never share.

A dark and intense love story that will keep the reader on the edge of the seat.

Z is immersed in the prostitution world without any opportunity or even hopes of getting out. It's the only life he knows and everything seems in order, until one of his clients starts to get his attention more than he'd expected. Brody is a mysterious man. He enjoys Z's company but the day Z follows him through the city, things are about to change for both men.

This was a very intense and captivating story. I couldn't stop reading.

I liked both main characters. Z was very likable, I wished there could be a little more character development, but at the length of the story, I think it was a really good. Brody was very mysterious, and that made him such an attractive person, he kept me guessing and, until the very end, trying to figure him out. He was amazing.

The moments between them were sweet, but they felt a little underdeveloped. I wanted to be more fascinated by their relationship, and yet, their feelings felt believable and I got to care very much for both of them.

The plot was one of the strongest part of the story. It's so intriguing, and it kept a fast pace that made it so good.

What I didn't like about it was the length. I think it was too good a story to be so short. I finished it wanting to know so much more about, not only the characters, but also the world they lived into. I just think it was a great book and I wished there's more of it in the future.
