Nate is the youngest of twelve, and the only one not yet mated. Being a member of one of the founding families of Ityu Lake, he's decided to inherit the Bloodline Legacy and remain on the lake alongside his best friend Jason as one of the two pillars of the barrier surrounding the land. He silently waits for the day his own mate will arrive.

Viktor arrives at Spirit Valley during his Wandering and instantly finds his mate, Nate, working in a bar. Nate is shocked to see that his destined mate is a rough biker bear, a combination of two things he's feared since he was young. Viktor needs to help Nate through his own fears if he's to make a life with his mate.

Matters are complicated further by the last remnants of Joseph Strand acting through his daughter, Jasmine. She plans to remove her family's ties to the barrier, there's just one problem, by doing so she'll kill both Jason and Nate.

Nate is a fairy, the youngest of twelve and the last one to find his mate. Due to circumstances in his youth, he hates bikers and is afraid of bears. So imagine his horror when he finds out that his mate is both! Viktor is instantly smitten with his mate, although his major concern is how youthful Nate looks. He doesn't want to get into trouble! Luckily for him, Nate is well above the legal age and Viktor is patient enough to deal with Nate's fears.

Alongside of their story, we reunite with Jasmine as she follows her Sire's instructions, not knowing the devastating effect it will have.

This story is well-written with a smooth pace. The author manages to bring both stories up to date and intertwined, without losing anything from either storyline. A wonderful addition to the Itayu Lake series and definitely recommended by me.
