SUMMARY
Here's what you need to know about me — I'm well-off, well-hung and quick with a joke. Women like a guy who makes them laugh—and I don't mean at the size of his d*ck. No, they want their funny with a side of huge… not to mention loyal. I've got all that plus a big bank account, thanks to my booming construction business. Yup. I know how to use all my tools.

Enter Natalie. Hot, sexy, smart, and my new assistant. Which makes her totally off limits...

Hey, I'mwhat you need to know about me — I'm well-off, well-hung and quick with a joke.

Hey, I'm a good guy. Really. I do my best to stay far away from the kind of temptation she brings to work.

Until one night in Vegas…

Yeah, you've heard this one before. Bad news on the business front, drowning our sorrows in a few too many Harvey Wallbangers, and then I'm banging her. In my hotel room. In her hotel room. Behind the Titanic slot machine at the Flamingo (don't ask). And before I can make her say "Oh God right there YES!" one more time, we're both saying yes—the big yes—at a roadside chapel in front of a guy in press-on sideburns and a shiny gold leisure suit.

But it turns out what happened in Vegas didn't stay in Vegas. And now, my dick doesn't stay in my pants when she's around. I try to resist. Honest. But the more we try to keep our hands to ourselves, the more we end up naked again, and the more time I want to spend with her fully clothed, too.

The question now is…do I take this woman to be my ex-wife?

*WELL HUNG is the next sexy, funny standalone romantic comedy to feature characters first seen in BIG ROCK and MISTER O. *

"What could possibly go wrong on a business trip to Vegas?" Famous last words from everyone who's ever traveled to Sin City!!!

Wyatt Hammer has built WH Carpentry & Construction with his bare hands, and he's learned the hard way to never, EVER, mix business with pleasure. It's just his dumb luck that his brilliant and gorgeous assistant Natalie has everything he could want in a woman…and she can nosh a habanero pepper like a BOSS. When a client offers them a huge job in Vegas, they wholeheartedly accept. But everyone knows Vegas is nothing but trouble when an attraction is included, business or not. Twenty-four hours later, the two are waking up in bed together...and sporting matching wedding bands. As the pair try to get their marriage annulled, life back in NYC is strained, but can the connection of a lifetime be so easily discarded?

I have a girl crush on Lauren Blakely. This chick can write from a dude's perspective in such a funny, hot and poignant way that is so unique in the erotic romance genre. Plus, her book titles (and yummy, yummy covers) are EPIC. WELL HUNG is a stand alone read, but features characters who were players in Big Rock and Mister O, two books that you must add to your TBR pile, STAT!!

How delicious is Wyatt?! Dude is a master with a circular saw and his sledgehammer. He's cocky but sweet. He's cheesy and goofy and understatedly intelligent and the king of terrible terrible puns. And Natalie…this chick is bad.ass. A ninja who organizes like a filing cabinet, a girl next door silliness and a smile like a supermodel. The two have mad chemistry, and I swear I had some tingly feelings during the big build up (and don't even get me started on their wedding night...WHEW)! I absolutely adored their back and forth banter; it was so cheesy and silly and fun that you can tell the two were absolutely 100% meant to be. I'm totally fangirling over Ms. Blakely's upcoming books featuring Chase and Josie, and Simon and Abby!!

Bottom Line: Put this talented author on your auto-buy list! She's so brilliant at raunchy, dirty, sweet, fun and hysterical stories from the dude's POV that'll make you swoon. L.O.V.E.

If I'd pretty much forgotten this series, WELL HUNG reintroduces the very dominant, distinct male voice that rings out from the beginning in the form of Wyatt Hammer in a way that almost makes me forget it's written by a female author.

But does that really matter? I'm reading Lauren Blakely's very assured and confident writing, even if it's her personal perception of a male's mind and voice and from where I stand, it sounds authentically male (and American) and smug and well, hilarious at times with the things they get so wrong.

But Wyatt is a little more clued in than the oblivious male and the story never quite loses its jaunty tone though and somehow that upbeat voice lifts it all, like a rom-com that's written, produced and directed by men. With a terribly overt and naughty title, who can resist?

The pages are filled with innuendo on purpose and even if those have gotten me cringing from time to time, WELL HUNG is a fun and easy read that takes a swift turn into unknown territory when a construction company owner and his assistant make it Vegas for a job and all hell breaks loose when that job is cancelled at the last minute. We whirl through Wyatt's drunk, hallucinogenic moments filled with loads of sex in Vegas until reality sets in once more, in the form of a marriage certificate and a rushed annulment that unsurprisingly doesn't work out. There's some roundabout madness that we're left clueless about right up until the end, but even then, it didn't make too much sense when it's revealed that Wyatt insists on never mixing business and pleasure but still gets married on that whim.

Or should we simply chalk it right up to the male mind?

I do think however, that a single POV, whether female or male, doesn't exactly work for me that well. And that's my primary issue with this series thus far, as much as it has also been a delightful subversion of typical romantic heroines' long rants and monologues. Skewed towards unreliable narration, WELL HUNG still doesn't reveal enough of Natalie for a better grasp of her character. I wished we could have known her better apart from the short text-conversations she had with her sister because by the end, I couldn't find it believable that she had been in love with Wyatt the whole time as well.

Nonetheless, WELL HUNG is an entertaining read, if a little zany in the number of marriages and annulments a couple can really go through…and a clear reminder that it's not quite meant to be anchored in reality at all.
