Contemporary Romance, Erotic Romance
Treachery. Destiny. Forgiveness.
She's the one woman he could never shake or forget. Nora Cantres was buried so fucking far inside Connelly he didn't have breath left for anyone else. She'd managed to avoid him for more than a decade, but now the running stops. He's made damn sure of it. Yet just when he's got her in his bed, in his life, the secret she's been hiding is unexpectedly revealed, blowing his entire world sky high.
Connelly Colloway was every man's man. Confident. A little cocky. A whole lot of sexy. Once upon a time Nora thought he was hers, but then he betrayed her in the worst possible way, setting them on paths that didn't include the other. Now he's wormed his way back into her life and while she's never loved anyone but him, she can't let him back inside. She has too much to hide, too much to lose.
But when Karma finally catches up to them the only question is: can he forgive her monumental deceit or will she lose everything she holds dear, including Connelly?
Book 4 in a 4 book series. Each book features a different brother and each can be read as a STANDALONE. To get the full Colloway Brother experience, however, it's most enjoyable to read in order.
***Mature readers only, 18+. Features alpha men with foul language and penchant for hot sex.

Cheating, lies and betrayal, oh my!
Connelly Colloway loves sex. Lots of hot, NSA, one and done lovin' with whatever woman catches his eye. He never gives more, that part of him is still on lockdown after the love of his life, Nora Cantres, left him and broke his heart a decade ago. Now, Conn has finally found her again, acquiring her executive recruiting firm…and her along with it. Nora never wanted to leave the love of her life, but when she found him in bed with someone else only weeks after she left for college, she was destroyed. Both of them have made terrible mistakes, but 11 years later, can they get the happy ending denied to them so long ago?
The fourth and final book in the Colloway Brothers series, DESTINATION CONNELLY, was one I've been excited to get to! Conn comes off as a sweet, smart, well adjusted and happy-ish guy, but inside he's just going through the motions. No woman could ever measure up to Nora, and despite his manwhoreish ways over the years, she's IT for him. I'm always skeptical about playboys suddenly becoming all "you're my one and only" when they find their match, though Ms. Kreig does make it feel somewhat plausible with the Colloway brothers.
While Conn wasn't innocent in their initial breakup, Nora's deception was on a whole other level and I had a super hard time feeling empathy for a woman who deliberately hid her child from the father for 11 years. And her reasonings were silly and didn't make any sense. Her pride was bruised and as the years wore on, it morphed from an "I'm not telling him because he's a cheating asshat" to a "there's no way he'd ever forgive me for not telling him now, so he must never know." I don't have a whole lot of sympathy for those who make such poor life choices and try to justify them away. But hey, what's romance for if not to show just how redeemable a person can be when it comes to love!?
Bottom Line: The storyline and writing were well done, and though I didn't particularly LIKE either MC, they were still well written and relatable in their flaws. This is a terrific series overall that I wholeheartedly recommend to those who dig possessive, Alpha men and a whole lot of obstacles in the way of true love.
