A young woman is fascinated by science. When an opportunity to explore a new lead comes her way, she doesn't hesitate to pursue it. It leads her to a personal discovery that changes her life. Three shifters are determined to prove that she is their mate. Will she be able to accept the truth and the men that intend to claim her?

Ruby has lived a lonely life and has focused on science as her passion. Since turning eighteen, she has dreamed of three men. These passionate dreams excite and scare her. When she is offered the chance to explore an isolated area in Alaska, it is the dream of a lifetime. A discovery leads her to finding the three men of her dreams are very real. They share with her the information she has been seeking and it changes her life forever.

Stanis, Casis and Malachi are shifters that have lived their entire life in Alaska. They have waited patiently for their mate. They have no intention of letting Ruby go now that they have found her. They also have to prevent others from finding out about shifters or they would all be at risk.

This story is an erotic romance which includes a menage between the four mates. Everyone has different preferences about their erotic romances. I really enjoy them more when I feel like there is a connection beyond the sex and the author really takes time to develop the characters while others may prefer to get to the erotic scenes quickly. The male characters did not seem developed at all and it felt like getting to the sex scenes was a rushed kind of process. I really can't even recall much about the men after reading the book. I would have preferred it be longer and more attention given to distinguish the personalities of the characters.

This is a short erotic romance featuring a menage between a woman and her three shifter mates. I read a lot of paranormal romances and this one did not stand out to me. I felt like the male characters were undeveloped and it left me without any real investment in the story. I really feel like more time spent on character development and building a relationship among the mates would have brought me closer to the characters and increased my enjoyment of the story. I have read other books by the author and enjoyed them but this one did not connect.

Ruby has no idea that the erotic dreams she has been having are actually connected to reality. Author Jenika Snow delivers an interesting paranormal menage set in a remote area of Alaska in BITE ME.

Unbeknowst to her, three wolf shifters eagerly await Ruby's arrival. It's a completely foreign concept to Ruby, but the revelation creates a suspenseful storyline.

While it is a relatively short read, it is packed with heat and steamy encounters. As a paranormal erotica selection, the author gets high marks for creating a fascinating storyline.
