SUMMARY
A former super soldier turned dragon demon must choose between his soul mate and saving the world from a nuclear winter.

The British army's nuclear testing bonded a dragon into Flynn Hemsworth's soul. Military scientists vivisected and tortured him until he escaped two years later. Although he's never aged, he's been alone and on the run for almost six decades. When he prevents a naked woman from being the prize lot in a coven's slave auction, he realizes she has an unexplored submissive streak.

Hope Mathews—a sassy blonde with killer keyboard skills—is a strong independent woman. When Flynn prevents her being sold to a demon, she discovers she enjoys spankings and light bondage.

Together Hope and Flynn must shut down a coven of black magicians, rescue kidnapped demons, and stop a black ops nuclear missile hitting the UK. Even if they manage all that, Hope's the granddaughter of a billionaire while Flynn's still on the run from the military who want to dissect him again. Can they find common ground and build a life together?

Reader Advisory: Contains explicit language, a virginal heroine who discovers she enjoys spanking and bondage. Add in some serious dragon demon loving, light the blue touch paper, stand back, and watch the sparks fly.

PUBLISHER NOTE: Paranormal BDSM Romance – 63,094 words. BDSM, Exhibitionism, Orgies and Spanking

DOMINATED BY THE DRAGON (Book 1 of Doms of Dragon Island) by Kryssie Fortune is a very good start to an erotic BDSM/paranormal romance series. Well written with the world-building incorporated throughout the story, the fast-paced action plot and hot sex made me a happy reader!

Flynn Hemsworth has been on the run from the military for six decades due to the fact that they want to cut him up to see how he works. Always a misfit due to his brawn and brains, the military leaves him and his squad of misfits on Dragon Island to see if they will survive an atmospheric H-bomb explosion. Flynn's soul fuses with a dragon demon and he has been in a battle of wills with the dragon ever since.

Hope Mathews wakes up in a cage at an orgy and is being auctioned off as a slave to demon shifters by a black coven. Even though she is intelligent, athletic, a computer keyboard pro and the daughter of a billionaire, she needs help to get out of this nightmare.

Flynn is sent to find and rescue Hope. When he saves her, his dragon wants to claim her immediately, but Flynn is on the run and can't see how he can be the mate for her. Until they can make her safe from the coven, he wants to explore her submissive nature and love her until he has to let her go as much as Hope wants Flynn and his dragon to love and dominate her.

This book had some interesting new takes on shifters, demons and witches and it was very easy to fall into the world-building and story. The BDSM, spanking and sex between Flynn and Hope was hot and not just dropped into the story gratuitously. I would have liked the author to not have mentioned how flat chested Hope was quite so many times, we got it. If Flynn and the dragon liked her as she was, it shouldn't have mattered and didn't need mention so often. There were also some abrupt changes in the story and characters' emotions at times which is the reason for my slightly lower rating, but I still enjoyed the overall story.

I am looking forward to reading more books in this series. The author completed this plot and left an opening for Flynn and Hope to find others like them.
