Not to be deterred, Juliet arranges for her hero to escort her to her family estate in far off Northern England—hoping that along the way she can win his love—and his hand…

Captivated by Juliet's sweetness and beauty, Captain Amiable Dawson can't help but be spellbound by the promise of a life with her. But the spell breaks when questions arise about her marital status. Soon the upstanding Amiable is unsure if he is indeed married to Juliet. And when his rival absconds with her, Amiable must choose between the law of the land and his heart's desire to rescue Juliet once more…

Lady Juliet Ferrers needs a hero to save her from the clutches of a man claiming to be her husband. When Captain Amiable Dawson finds himself in that role, he escorts her to safety.

Yet author Jenna Jaxon has a few surprises planned in ONLY MARRIAGE WILL DO. In fact, the biggest question centers around exactly who is married to Juliet.

Since these characters were introduced in Ms. Jaxon's previous book, this installment was an excellent opportunity to continue the storyline. Once again, she has developed a cast of enjoyable characters. While Philippe certainly fulfills his role as a villain, Amiable does his part as the hero. Sorting out all the entanglements to get to the truth was an adventure.

I especially enjoyed the drama caused by Philippe, although his tactics of questioning Amiable were difficult to read. There's plenty of action set against a backdrop of Regency England.
