Contemporary Romance, Erotic Romance
Vinter is not your typical businessman. Tattoos, piercings and not a suit and tie in sight. One-third owner of a bar and a tattoo parlor along with being a bassist in a band, Vinter comes and goes as he pleases. He likes his beer cold, his music hard and his women scorching hot. Until he's knocked off his game by a suburban doll he can't stop wanting.
Elise needs a change. In men. The buttoned-up businessmen she's been dating leave a lot to be desired-in romance, in respect and most definitely in sex. A recent text message from her now ex-lover drives Elise into a popular bar on the outside of town, where she meets one of its owners. He's just the kind of man she's never had and definitely the kind she's always fantasized about. Big, bad and oh so naughty.
Unexpected tenderness. Unimaginable lust. Being dumped has never felt so damn good.

SIMPLE NEED is simply scorching and decadently satisfying.
Ladies and gents, I am bowing down at the greatness that is Lissa Matthews. If you only have time for a short read, and those opportunities are rare at that, Lissa Matthews is the way to go. She has a gift for writing a short story that somehow gives the reader everything in this satisfying little package. And when I say everything, I mean EVERYTHING.
I'll admit that I knew some Lissa Matthews is what I wanted. I'd been saving her (and a bottle of chocolate wine) for just the right occasion. The wine was meh, but the book was ‘oh baby!' I don't think my toes have uncurled yet. But don't look for this to be one big sex scene lacking emotion and connection. It is all emotion and connection. Expect your heart to pound and your pulse to race.
Elise has had one heck of a day. Dumped via a lunch time text message, she learned that her boyfriend was actually married and going back to his wife. That's enough to send any girl, even this straight laced lady from the suburbs, to the bar.
Vinter is that forbidden, mysterious man of our fantasies. One third owner of the bar, a tattoo parlor and a member of a band with his partners, Vinter's presence screams bad boy. He can't help but notice as Elise enters the bar. The starched businesswoman appeared as out of place as anyone could until she pulled up a stool at the bar and assumed the position alongside her comrades in misery.
From the outside, they appear to be polar opposites, yet once Vinter takes the risk and goes and meets her, we learn how perfectly matched they are. Watching Vinter resurrect everything that Elise had been and still craved to be was an erotic and thrilling ride.
I loved the refreshing honesty of Elise. She'd hit rock bottom and was in this raw emotional state that allowed her to just tell the truth and not worry about the consequences. It also allowed her to throw caution to the wind and act with impulse and desire to satiate the needs she'd long ago forgotten.
Vintor, this man of many tattoos and piercings (and can I just say, I was right there with Elise as she licked her lips, ready to rub her tongue over some of those more ‘extraordinary' piercings), surprised me with his soft side. I love how she is able to bring this bad boy to his knees. And to be honest, he was the one I could physically feel falling in love. Elise was coming back to life, being resurrected while his heart experienced something new and overwhelming. It was as beautiful to read as it was erotic.
I have a new favorite hero to add to my most wanted list. His name is Vinter.
This is basically a twenty four hour sex fest. But expect more. I closed the book with the feeling that Vinter and Elise would find their happily ever after. I can imagine their passion, their love and the fun they will have as they continue to get to know each other.
This one is hot on the erotic and sex, without including any BDSM, Menage or toy play. There is light anal play and a whole lot of wild monkey play, so have that cold beverage close by. Enjoy!
