(Dirty Players Duet #2)

Zelda Wilder is on the run, this time from the ruthless assassins who've decided she knows too much to live.

"Playboy Prince" MacCallum Lockwood Tate isn't about to let the beautiful player who stole his heart get away—if only he could decide whether he wants to save her or strangle her for her dangerous choices.

After tracking her down to a casino in St. Croix, Cal follows Zee back to Tortola where he intends to keep her safe. One problem: Zelda's criminal liaisons are two steps ahead of her.

Lives are threatened, and all of the players' skills are tested in this plot to capture a killer and save a princess.

Cinderella meets Ocean's Eleven in this CONTEMPORARY ROMANCE DUET featuring secrets, lies, royal high jinks, scams and double-crosses; breathless, swooning lust, cocky princes, dominant alpha future-kings, and crafty courtiers, who are not always what they seem.

This is a fun series that has elements of action and suspense and just the right amount of fairytale romance.

A con job gone rogue has Zee Wilder fleeing Monagasco and Cal, the prince she fell in love with, she goes on the run from the men who want her dead. Leaving her sister behind with her monarch fiancé, she's now bouncing around the Caribbean with fellow thief Seth on a con and a prayer. Zee is simultaneously relieved and horrified to find out that Cal has found her so easily and quickly.

Prince MacCallum Lockwood Tate didn't expect to lose his heart to anyone, especially not a lying petty thief and grifter, but now he can't imagine not having her in his life. If only she'd let him in. Zee doesn't see any way she could fit in his world. Cal doesn't see any world without her in it. But the two will have to survive kidnappings, assassination attempts and the Queen, if they're going to make a go of it.

A PLAYER FOR A PRINCESS is the second part of the Dirty Players Duo and a sexy, fast paced read that held my attention from the first page! This time, the story was told from Cal and Zee's POV's, and this story had much more of a badass edge and suspenseful element to it than the first book, The Prince & The Player. In fact, this book was entirely about Zee and Cal (and quite honestly they're much more interesting than Ava and Rowan anyway) and their race to eliminate the threats to their family.

I liked that Zee was smart and crafty, but she wasn't this kickass Krav Maga master who got herself out of situations. It made her more relatable and empathetic. Even Cal, for all his military background, was impotent to do anything most of the time, another nice departure from the typical male MC. Their chemistry was truly something though, very palpable and erotic. The only thing I didn't get was Logan's seemingly random attitude. It didn't fit with the story and it didn't go anywhere. I'm hoping he's going to get his own story sometime soon (dream: with Felicity and her lover!!). Other than that, I really enjoyed A PLAYER FOR A PRINCESS as well as The Prince & The Player and would recommend this duo to lovers of action packed yet sweetly sexy romance.

Bottom Line: Great series, pick these ones up as soon as this second book is available because you won't want to wait after the cliffhanger ending of book 1.
