Contemporary Romance, Multi-cultural/Multi-racial Romance
Romance novelist Lucy Figueroa lives a life of the imagination. While her stories are filled with fictional alpha male heroes, her real life is filled with nothing but Mr. Wrongs. As a sassy, strong, single mom, she doesn't need anyone... except maybe a new book idea. And to forgive herself for the mistakes of the past.
Lucy's sexy new neighbor, Jake Slausen, looks like one of her characters come to life. While he fits the heartthrob part, he doesn't act it, too distracted by his cell phone and his job for any relationship. Damaged by his childhood, he's ignored his true calling and goes through his days on autopilot...until he meets Lucy.
First drawn together by chemistry, then by a fierce need to protect each other even from themselves, will Jake and Lucy learn to accept their pasts or will they convince themselves that happily ever afters only exist in romance novels?

Ms. McAdam is Giving Me…the feels.
Romance author and nude art class model Lucy Figueroa is proud of her writing, her body and her son. She's proud of her cooking, her ability to believe in romance and love and how great her ass looks in a skirt. She's not so proud of her neighbor, Jake Slausen, when he connects with her then turns on the douche when he learns his colleague is her attorney in a custody case. But the connection between the two of them is undeniable, and soon the two are spending every minute together. And they're both determined to give this thing between them a real shot.
If there's one author that has the ability to make me laugh and turn me on every.single.time, it's Ms. McAdam. Her characters are so real, flawed yet redeemable, that I have a hard time putting the book down (and know a "friend" who has fallen asleep standing up so I...I mean SHE...could get in just...one...more...chapter). And sister, I gotta say, I know Lucy's mental question mark at her son's bizarre Minecraft obsession (the struggle is real, folks).
There's nothing dramatic or shocking about ALL THE WATERS OF THE EARTH, but it's a sweetly erotic love story about two differently damaged people who find one another and fall in love. Jake was a unique character, the artistic attorney. The man who wanted to make art but instead put on a suit and tried cases. Lucy was that sassy, confident Latina who had a good head on her shoulders and took her role as a single mother very seriously. The addition of Lucy's son Rob was AWWWW inducing and made this into a feel good family story that fans will love. This is the third book in the Giving You… series and I highly recommend picking up this fabulous author today!
Bottom Line: No OW/OM or sharing; condom use until tested; no BDSM/kink; no violence; no sexual assault.
