Oooh man, this is one that will definitely have you asking yourself "what would I do?" during the course of the novel.
Sylvie Solum and Jeremy Bradford were deeply in love and just starting to plan a life together when Jeremy suddenly went missing. Devastated and pregnant, with no clue as to her beloved's whereabouts, Sylvie and her son finally move on with attorney Silas Chambers, never giving up hope that one day she'll finally find out what happened to Jeremy.
Waking up in a hospital after being in a coma for 4 long years, Jeremy is anxious to get to Sylvie. He doesn't realize that life has moved forward without his permission, that nobody has known what happened to him for all this time, that he no longer has the woman he loves.
Jeremy's determined to win his woman back, and he's not above fighting dirty to do it. As they discover more about his accident and his missing years, it's clear that Jeremy's return has created a ripple effect that can't be undone.
OOOOH, ya'll, this one is interesting. The writing was sharp and suspenseful but also erotically charged between all of the MC's. You have no idea who's really the bad guy as the book develops…is it Silas? Jeremy's mother? His brother? His business partner? The only thing that is clear is that Jeremy and Sylvie were ripped apart but that their love for each other remained. Ms. Scarlet did a great job somehow making Sylvie and Jeremy a couple to root for even though she was married to Silas. Usually OW/OM storylines make me insane with anger, but not so in EVERYTHING STOLEN. The scenes between them were filled with sexual tension but the action took place via flashbacks from both their POV's. I was very surprised in how everything turned out…
I so didn't see some of the things coming! Sylvie's standoffishness toward the end kind of put me off, though I'll admit it was a nice change of pace from the typical insta-love situations. There were quite a few editing issues that bugged me though, which is the only reason this is a 4 star instead of a 5.
Bottom Line: Intriguing and sexy and packed full of the feels.
