Contemporary Romance, New Adult
Nicholas Arthur Frederick Edward Pembrook, Crowned Prince of Wessco, aka His Royal Hotness, is wickedly charming, devastatingly handsome, and unabashedly arrogant; hard not to be when people are constantly bowing down to you.
Then, one snowy night in Manhattan, the prince meets a dark haired beauty who doesn't bow down. Instead, she throws a pie in his face.
Nicholas wants to find out if she tastes as good as her pie, and this heir apparent is used to getting what he wants.
Dating a prince isn't what waitress Olivia Hammond ever imagined it would be.
There's a disapproving queen, a wildly inappropriate spare heir, relentless paparazzi, and brutal public scrutiny. While they've traded in horse drawn carriages for Rolls Royces, and haven't chopped anyone's head off lately, the royals are far from accepting of this commoner.
But to Olivia, Nicholas is worth it.
Nicholas grew up with the whole world watching, and now Marriage Watch is in full force. In the end, Nicholas has to decide who he is and, more importantly, who he wants to be: a King... or the man who gets to love Olivia forever.

"If you were told that the world as you knew it--life as you knew it--would end in five months, what would you do?
You'd make the most of the time you had let, of course. Do everything you wanted to do--everyone you wanted to do--for as long as you could. Until time was up."
Prince Nicholas Pembrook of Wessco has never known what it's like to be normal, but the job of being royal has its perks…like frequent sex. And now that he's been ordered by the queen to head to NYC, find his wayward brother, and pick himself a bride in the next 5 months, Nicholas intends to take full advantage of his last bit of freedom.
Coffee shop owner Olivia Hammond is barely making ends meet these days. But when a hot as sin guy shows up at her shop with his charming, sexy self and asks for a date? Well, why not. They both know there's a shelf life on their affair, that Wessco law forbids marriage between a royal and a commoner. There's no chance at happily ever after for Nicholas and Olivia…right?
ROYALLY SCREWED was awwwww-sooomee!! I'm a huge fan of Ms. Chase's Legal Briefs series, and I was so pumped for the kickoff of this new series, Royally. This shit is funny. FUN.NEE. (Triplets Bibbidy, Bobbidy and Boo? What?!?) And the sex-ay sexiness was just so yummy (nnngh, the shaving scene. Lawdy). I absolutely adored Nicholas and Olivia together, their chemistry made my kindle sizzle and my belly tingle with giddiness!
"Royal" stories can go either way for me, some end up cheesy and obvious, but while there was nothing EARTH shattering in ROYALLY SCREWED, it was still sweet and hot and oh so delicious. Ms. Chase has a way of making even the everyday seem so fabulous, and Nicholas and Olivia were characters that were totally relatable and root-for-able. I'm absolutely dying for Prince Henry's story next!!
Bottom Line: No OW/OM or sharing; no BDSM; no kink; no sexual assault; no murder/violence…and STILL NOT boring!
