My tempting and very alpha friend Sterling Quinn is someone I consider off-limits.

It's not just that we're friends, he's also cocky, confident, and British, which means he's a walking aphrodisiac.

But lately he's been giving me the look. You know the one. When he thinks I'm not paying attention, and his gaze lingers for too long.

When we start working together, that's when the sexual tension between us gets so thick, I want to hack through it with a machete. I want to make all these deep feelings I've harbored for him disappear, because there's no way this can end well.

The lines between business and pleasure become irrevocably blurred, and I'm stuck between a rock, and Sterling's very, very hard place.

Rather than keep a level head about our growing attraction, Sterling wants to go all in, showing me just how explosive we can be together.

But I've been around long enough to know that this British bad boy is more than my heart can handle. I'm not about to be cast aside like yesterday's underwear when he's done having fun.

Sterling's never been told no, and he's not about to put his ego aside and play by my rules. But I never thought he'd fight so dirty.

*This is a spin-off from the HITCHED series, but can be read as a standalone.

Yes! Yes! Yes!

Fucking Sterling Quinn. Cocky, confident, British…aka totally dangerous. He's also Camryn Palmer's friend and newest PR client after he finds out he's got to marry in the next 6 months in order to collect a $50 million inheritance. As the premier divorce attorney (and premier playboy) in NYC, Sterling is more than jaded when it comes to romance, which means Cami's got her hands full trying to play millionaire matchmaker. Especially since she wants him for herself.

Sterling is growing desperate for Cami's witty intelligence and sexy as hell body, which is a real problem since he needs to find a wife ASAP. Would it be the worst thing in the world to wish Cami was interested in the position?

Unngh! THE FIX UP is the spinoff of the Hitched Trilogy (that featured Sterling and Cami's friends) but is a standalone novel. And like the others, it's freakin' FABULOUS! Sterling and Cami had the kind of chemistry that comes along once in a lifetime, and their connection simply jumped off the pages! I'm always skeptical about the arranged marriage-type storylines, as they seem fabricated, but somehow Ms. Ryan does a brilliant job at making you fall in love with Sterling and Cam anyway. And this shit is FUNNY! Witness:

I drop the sheet and heave in a deep breath. Sterling's just going to have to see the dimples in my butt and the extra flesh on my belly. But hey, he totally encouraged that cake. He's a cake pusher. Cake pushers can't judge you for a little extra flab. That's like a rule.

And of course, getting to catch up with Olivia and Noah, the BFF's of our MC's, was just the cherry on top of the sexy-time sundae. I'm officially gonna have to embrace my status as a fangirl.

Bottom Line: Pick up the Hitched Trilogy, then get THE FIX UP, STAT!!! You won't regret it!
