Book 2 of The Stark Series
Contemporary Romance, Erotic Romance, Romantic Suspense/Mystery

NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER • From J. Kenner comes the second novel in the fast-paced trilogy that started with Release Me. This sexy, emotionally charged romance continues the story of Damien Stark, the powerful multimillionaire who's never had to take "no" for an answer, and Nikki Fairchild, the Southern belle who only says "yes" on her own terms.

For Damien, our obsession is a game. For me, it is fiercely, blindingly, real.

Damien Stark's need is palpable—his need for pleasure, his need for control, his need for me. Beautiful and brilliant yet tortured at his core, he is in every way my match.

I have agreed to be his alone, and now I want him to be fully mine. I want us to possess each other beyond the sweetest edge of our ecstasy, into the deepest desires of our souls. To let the fire that burns between us consume us both.

But there are dark places within Damien that not even our wildest passion can touch. I yearn to know his secrets, yearn for him to surrender to me as I have surrendered to him. But our troubled pasts will either bind us close . . . or shatter us completely.

NOTE: This edition includes an excerpt from J. Kenner's Say My Name.

Claim Me is intended for mature audiences.

3 eye-rolling stars for CLAIM ME.

Now that secrets are out in the open, Nikki Fairchild and Damien Stark can develop their relationship without the yoke of the unknown around their necks. But Nikki quickly learns that Damien still keeps things close to the vest, much to her frustration. And with paparazzi chasing her every move now that she's with a bonafide celebrity, Nikki needs her focus more than ever, whether it's through pain or pleasure. Good thing for her Damien is an expert in both.

Soooo, yeah. CLAIM ME is book 2 in the Stark Trilogy series (which keeps going way past the three book "trilogy" threshold, FYI), and I pretty much just skimmed the entire thing. Between obnoxiously frequent and overdone sex scenes, irritating dialogue, so-so characters and cringe worthy plot line, I found my eyes rolling almost constantly.

And as I ride him, Damien's hands on my hips and his strong arms helping me to piston my body on his rock-hard cock, I drink in this sexual symphony, and I look deep into his eyes as we both silently, quietly, explode in each other's arms.

Behold, the power of cheese. I just can't get into this series. The thought that paparazzi swarmed this billionaire and former beauty queen constantly was just stupid. I follow enough celeb gossip to know that if the two of them made news, it would not involve dozens of paps chasing them down in LA. Additionally…I've heard this song before. There was absolutely nothing new in this book (or this series for that matter), and it's been done a hell of a lot better than this.

I'm committed to reading the rest of the series. But I don't like it.

Bottom Line: No OM/OW or sharing; no condoms; mild BDSM/kink; discussion of past sexual assault; no violence/murder.
