What's sexier than a bad boy? A bad ass man who's got his shit together.
Max Alexander is nearing thirty-five. He's built a successful company, and he's conquered the professional world, but he's never been lucky in love. Focusing so much time on his business and raising his daughter, adulting has come at the expense of his personal life.
His social skills are shit, his patience is shot, and at times, his temper runs hot.
The last thing he has time for is the recently single, too gorgeous for her own good young woman he hires to take care of his little girl. She's a distraction he doesn't need, and besides, there's no way she'd be interested. But you know what they say about assumptions?
This is book 3 in the Roommates series, but each book can be read as a complete standalone as they all feature new couples to fall in love with.

4 cliched yet combustible "hot daddy hooks up with hot nanny" stars for THE HOUSE MATE.
Max Alexander has his shit together…life is good, business is good, his friends are good. So when an ex drops off a baby girl he knew nothing about, Max's world turns inside out. Determined to be with his daughter as much as possible, Max hires Addison Lane as a live-in nanny. Addison is just coming off of an epic breakup, with nowhere to live, no job and no self-esteem left. Working for Max could be everything she needs, if she can just get over her little crush on him. But as the two circle each other like caged, horny animals, it's clear that neither will be able to keep things professional between them.
Book 3 in the Roommates
series, THE HOUSE MATE, is just as spectacular as the others (and any book Ms. Ryan puts her name on, really). There's almost nothing better than an erotic romance with a great sense of humor, and Ms. Ryan is brilliant at it. Witness:
We pulled up in the pickup window's line, doubtlessly full of other people who'd been thrown out of the bars at 2 a.m., and I tapped my fingers against my jeans, a little amazed at the texture of the fabric.
How did I never notice that sober? They were so soft. Like unicorn fur.
And the sex was nothing to sneeze at either! Once Addison and Max started hooking up, the sexual tension went from 60 to 120 immediately. Though the storyline was pretty cliché, it truly didn't detract from my sincere enjoyment of Addison and Max's yummy fairytale!
Bottom Line: No OM/OW or sharing; some condom use; no BDSM/kink; no sexual assault; no violence/murder.
