Action/Adventure Romance, Paranormal Romance
Skye Olson is a psychic like her mother, and her grandmother before her, but a bad break up with the man she thought was her soulmate has left her confidence in her abilities shaken. While she's in crisis, a real estate tycoon from Atlanta swoops in with his eyes on her shop.
Colton Hayes spent his mortal life plundering royal ships with his pirate crew, but one holy relic changed everything. Now he and the rest of the crew protect the port of Savannah from their captain who traded his cutlass for a fountain pen.
When Colton discovers the captain wants to build a hotel in the heart of historic Savannah, he sets out to stop him, but nothing could prepare him for the violet eyes of the Magnolia Mystic.
Love is a dangerous game for a pirate.

Skye Olson is a psychic, and should have been able to see her own future. Why then, could she not see that her fiancé was a lying thief? In a symbolic gesture, she plans to throw her engagement ring overboard while touring an historic ship. Instead, a hunky "pirate" tells her that she's in an off-limits area, and asks her to leave. She tosses the ring, and returns to her shop, where she reads tarot cards.
Colton Hayes doesn't have to pretend to be a pirate, he has been one for over the last two hundred and fifty years. He and his crew drank from the holy grail and gained immortality--their injuries heal immediately and they don't age or die. But something odd is happening. One of his crew is badly injured and is not healing. Colton himself received a minor injury that isn't healing. It seems that the curse is fading. The crew has mixed opinions--some want to drink again from the cup to regain their immortality while others want to regain their humanity. It seems that they won't have a choice as the relic has been stolen.
Colton and Skye cross paths a few times, and before long have a scorching encounter, which Skye quickly regrets. There is so much happening in this short novella that I found it hard to catch my breath. Skye is reeling from her broken relationship, doubting her talent, and regretting her impulsive actions, all while falling for the pirate. Colton is unsure of what his future is, but knows that it's tied to Skye, somehow.
MAGNOLIA MYSTIC is an exciting, fun, and steamy read that left me anxiously looking forward to the next installment to follow the adventure and romance.
