When I sat down to read this book, I was expecting a light but hot read about reuniting young love. However, SATISFACTION GUARANTEED was so much more than I was expecting, and that was a wonderful surprise.

Sela knew she needed to stay away from Rome at their high school reunion if she wanted to walk away with her heart intact. But she ends up in the closet with him at the reunion after-party anyway, playing a very adult version of Seven Minutes in Heaven. He offers her a night of promised sexual satisfaction if she goes to his hotel room, but she's not sure if she should take it. She wants him just as much now as she did ten years ago, but he hurt her before and will likely hurt her again.

So Sela decides to take Rome up on his offer but makes it clear that it's just sex, nothing more. However, Sela doesn't realize that Rome is playing for keeps, and although she thinks she can keep her heart out of their relationship, Sela actually may not want to.

I think the most wonderful aspect of this book was the depth of emotion between our main characters, Sela and Rome. In the beginning of the book, you are led to believe that this is just about the two characters exploring the attraction they had for each other years ago, but the story was so much more than what appeared on the surface. Discovering all that was there below the surface and all that happened in the lives of these characters when they were teenagers not only made them more real and developed but also made me more invested in what ultimately happened to them. This was done through memories, fights, tales from other characters, and revelations from the main characters, and I thought it was written wonderfully.

The chemistry between Rome and Sela was apparent from the first sentence. It was obvious that they weren't going to be able to keep their hands off each other. When they finally get together the first time, playing "seven minutes in heaven" no less, it was explosive, and it only burned hotter from there. Very sensual and very erotic, I think I got a little sweaty from reading about a simple kiss!

The theme was a good one--a familiar one, but the way in which the high school reunion love story was done made it a richer and much more original piece of writing. I felt like I was being held captive by the story as I just couldn't stop reading--I absolutely had to see how it was all going to play out.

This is my first experience with author Tuesday Morrigan, and I have to say I was extremely pleased. SATISFACTION GUARANTEED is a highly enjoyable read with its vast emotion, explosive chemistry, well-written story and surprising plot. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys erotic romance but enjoys a wonderful love story as well.
