Plus-sized Anna James is finally free of her good for nothing, cheating husband. She's in no hurry to trust another man anytime soon. Well, except for the hottie who stars nightly as the romantic hero in her dreams. It's a darn shame he isn't real.
Cade Le Beau is a billionaire with a furry secret. But even billions can't buy happiness. He blew his chance to meet the woman of his dreams six months ago. Dreaming is a fine way to pass the time, but he wants the flesh and blood female.

When a second opportunity presents itself, it comes with baggage. Anna's past has come for a visit, and she's been taken. Racing against the clock, Cade has forty-eight hours to deal with the threat and claim what's his.
Welcome to New Orleans, Louisiana, where every myth and scary story you were ever told is real. A place where the things that go bump in the night, or daytime for that matter, are surprisingly friendly. For the most part.

Take a good look at your neighbor, the person sitting beside you at the bar, or your coworker. Are you sure they're human?

NOTE: Complete novel. No cliffhanger. Dual POV. New Orleans Billionaire Wolf Shifters with plus sized BBW for mates. This is an adult paranormal romance with sexual content. It also includes vampires, voodoo priestess, and magic. These are stand alone books that create a series. They do not need to be read in order. Of course, the story is richer if the books are read in order.

CADE is book one in the Le Beau Brothers series by V.A. Dold and it was pure entertainment. If you are familiar with paranormal romances, you may have a certain expectation starting to read but Ms. Dold took it a step or three farther.

Likes: Let's start at the beginning. The prologue had me grinning and instantly drew me into the story. The parents were fantastic in their conspiracy to have grandchildren.

Make that love…I absolutely loved that Anna James is a woman in her forties. Sooooo many of these stories have the characters in their late teens/early twenties that it's downright refreshing when we have a female lead with college-age children. And I loved how Cade and Anna knew each other. It was so sweet watching their relationship unfold in a new way.

Dislikes: Tim. Enough said.

This story has a little something for everyone. Shape shifters, hot billionaire alpha, feisty curvy female lead, New Orleans, bit of a Cajun accent thrown in, romance, suspense, bad guys, vampires, boisterous family of brothers, and the list goes on. The chemistry between Anna and Cade was fun to read and if this is an example of rest of the series, be prepared to buy them all.
