BDSM, Erotic Romance
First book in the sizzling Mission Pleasure series…
Ruby has a secret. Beneath her prissy exterior lies a submissive in desperate need of a Master. After her past disastrous attempt at exploring her fantasies, she buried her cravings deep and told herself she'd be fine without giving in to them. Then she meets Joshua. He's everything she's ever fantasized about—and everything she's feared.
Joshua didn't start out wealthy—he's an ex-marine who made his fortune after seeing his fair share of war. His wealth and lavish lifestyle are nothing next to his driving need to claim Ruby for his own. He'd give up everything to collar her for a lifetime, and he'll have to use every sinful dominant trick he knows to make her let him in.
Inside Scoop: This book features a hero who knows what his submissive needs, whether it's being tied up or being taken in public with the assistance of two other hot marines. Please note this book was previously published by Ellora's Cave.

Oh. I have to say that Scarlett Sanderson's CLAIMING RUBY was downright delicious. I'm not entirely sure what it is about the story but it lit me up in all the right ways. From how charming Ruby was to the understated masculinity of Joshua and how easily Ruby managed to reduce him to a clever mix of unschooled boy battling with new emotions versus his scrumptious dominance.
Likes: The opening is great with the submissive burlesque dancer, which gives the readers some lovely insight into Ruby's submissive psyche along with a scrumptious (and a bit blundering) intro to Joshua. Ruby's insistence in turning Joshua down. Ruby's internal thoughts. Mmmm, all things Joshua. Oh, all things Joshua's friends, Bastien and Alex. The camaraderie between the Marines, as well as the relationship between Ruby and Jamie. Ruby's and Joshua's interactions from the get-go. So, at this point, I think I've listed just about everything in the story, hopefully, without giving away spoilers.
Dislikes: Julia. So well down with her character. Oh, and the ugliness of Jason. I love it when they're pretty on the outside and oh so not on the inside.
So, if you love stories with a sexy male lead, cute, charming and insecure female lead, fun secondary characters, bit of an insta-attraction, and, oh yea, some lovely kink, you will thoroughly enjoy CLAIMING RUBY.
