Contemporary Romance, New Adult

A high school reunion is about to get down and dirty and a whole lot more complicated in this new erotic standalone romance from USA Today bestselling author Stacey Kennedy.

Veterinarian, Rae Evans expects to attend a dreadful ten-year high school reunion. Instead, she's confronted by a past she's never gotten over. The love of her life, Travis Walker, has returned to Catfish Creek, and the now-famous rock star wants only three things: Her. Naked. And screaming his name.

Fresh off his last world tour, Travis has returned to town to get a dose of reality. With fame casting a superficial cloud over Travis's life, he's scrambling to stay afloat. He needs an anchor, and Rae is that for him. But as he finds himself, he's determined to remind Rae of the heat that once burned between them.

Before they know it, their one hot night is three, and soon, just like ten years ago, Travis holds the strings to Rae's heart. But Rae's not that young girl who watched her high school sweetheart race off to become famous. She's a woman who knows what she wants and realizes when a man needs her. She just has to decide if she should put the past on repeat, or walk away from it forever.

5 sweet teenage love stars revisited in ROCK STAR!

When Travis Walker left Catfish Creek to pursue his dreams of becoming a rock star, he also left behind the love of his life, Rae Evans. Too sensible to alter her course and join him, Rae stuck around and realized her goal of opening a veterinary practice. When the Catfish Creek 10 year reunion comes around, Rae does not expect Travis to attend, but Travis feels like a broken compass, and needs Rae to right his ship. Rae was always the stoic, unemotional one in the relationship, but something about Travis's reappearance in her life feels different, more profound, this time around. The only question is whether Rae will be brave enough to go after what her heart needs this time, or if she'll live half a life without Travis.

ROCK STAR is the fifth book in the Bad Boys Homecoming series from a variety of authors and centering around a Catfish Creek class reunion, which I really dig. As someone who is still married to her HS sweetie, I totally got Rae and Travis's sincere, bone deep connection. You can really tell that both of them were lost without one another, that, while they could survive, together they could seriously thrive. And the sweet, sweet lovin' between the couple was just deeee-licious (especially that poignant drive-in scene)! This is a fabulous series that'll have you reminiscing about lost loves and enduring friendships, and I absolutely recommend every single book!

Bottom Line: No OM/OW or sharing; condom use; no BDSM/kink; no sexual assault; no violence/murder.
