It was supposed to be fun.
A mutual use of each other's bodies.
To be a ruse to the world around us.
I wanted to be free from my ex, and he wanted to escape his.
One drunken night turned a joke into a life-changing moment.
He warned me not to fall for him, and I should've listened.
He intoxicated me.
He made me crave him.
He ruined me.
In the end, I'll never be the same.

5 "If you're horny, let's do it…ride it, my pony" stars for DRUNK ON YOU!
Both having been cheated on, Nikki Clark and Shane Kingston are done. DONE with relationships. However, a mutually beneficial FWB situation might help them both get rid of their clingy exes AND their pent up lust for each other. They agree to a fake relationship, but the more time they spend together, the more real their feelings become. Unfortunately, the problem of their exes isn't going away, and the couple will have to deal with some serious stalker behavior and make it clear that they're not coming back…ever. And, if Shane doesn't learn quickly that Nikki isn't like his ex, he's going to lose the best thing that ever happened to him.
Nnnngh. Soooo hot. I'm drunk on DRUNK ON YOU, it was beyond delicious, beyond sexy and beyond what I anticipated in the fourth (but my first) book in the Hope Town series! Seriously, how freakin' hot were Shane and Nikki? I don't think I stopped drooling from the moment Shane bumped and grinded on the bar for Nikki at Dirty Dog to the scene where he lets her take the reins, every single minute of DRUNK ON YOU was absolutely delectable. The two of them had some rare chemistry from the beginning, and I couldn't stop flipping pages to find out how their story ended. This book definitely makes me want to go back and catch up on the other stories in this series, especially since I'm a little in love with Nate and Ember already!
Bottom Line: No OM/OW or sharing; no condom use; yummy yummy BDSM/kink; no sexual assault; mild violence, no murder.
