I LOVED THIS BOOK!

So far, this is my book of the summer. Girls, if you are looking for a hot man, a strong girl, a new paranormal story that keeps the adrenaline going and plenty of laughs between the nail biting and the fornicating, this is the book for you. This was 346 pages of pure bliss.

I finally grabbed my red felt tip pen and started underlining all the great lines. It became somewhat of a joke. I am guessing it would have been easier to underline the lines I didn't want to commit to memory. My book is this craze of red, a danger to the psyche of bulls around the globe. Crystal Jordan's writing voice just sung to me. She is one of those writers who makes it effortless to fall into her world and impossible to set aside. I'm still depressed there isn't a sequel for me to jump right into. (Hint, hint to Ms. Jordon)

Chloe Standish is one of three doctors working on a treatment for lycanthrope that will allow werewolves to control their change during the full moon. It looks like someone wants to either stop their research or get their hands on it. One of her fellow researchers is dead and the other is missing, leaving Chloe and her godson, Alex, in the protective hands of detective (and warlock) Merek. The same Merek who has haunted Chloe's dreams since their one nightstand two months ago.

As the three travel from coast to coast evading the bad guys, we learn what makes each one of them tick, and how they came to be broken souls determined to avoid love and the pain that will surely follow. Although it is Choe and Merek's love story, it's really a story of a family forming, and werewolf Alex will worm his way into your heart right alongside our witch and wizard.

Ms Jordon describes Merek as "strong, brave, sexy and protective." She got it in one. He is all alpha, with a libido to rival that little pink bunny. If his green eyes don't have you swooning, his complete adoration for all things Chloe will. Who doesn't love a big, strong man in love? Nothing's sexier, I tell ya'. And get a load of this description: "His muscled legs flexed and stretched with every movement, he was built like some great predatory cat." Who doesn't want to be his scratching post? Sign me up.

Merek describes Chloe as an "unstoppable force of nature", while she describes herself as a "cantankerous witch". I'd say she is resilient, smart and big hearted. She shows that a woman can be strong and humble, caring and afraid at the same time. She has all those dichotomies that make women as complicated as we are. She makes for a fascinating heroine. Her story will leave your breathless.

Paranormal Erotic Romance lovers, this is one I highly recommend looking into. If you are climbing on a plane this summer, throw it in your bag. It will sweep you away, taking you to a magical world of love and suspense. Enjoy!
