Ladies & Gents,
I sold my soul for a hamburger.
And I have no regrets. When a girl is trapped indefinitely in an elevator with a smoking hot burger and an empty stomach, even the strongest of women will crumble.
The story goes like this: Bradley Hamilton, former professional hockey player and the most frustrating human alive, offered me half of his hamburger in exchange for a date. I took him up on the offer—while under duress—and now I'm stuck with the consequences. Specifically, the scorching kiss that has me drooling for more.
However, there's one whopper of a problem. This man has been a thorn in my side for the last twenty years—ever since he moved next door and became my older brother's best friend. We've gone head to head for years, and now, he's trying to buy out my restaurant in order to plop one of his big fat gyms there instead.
I refuse to let him ruin my business. Unfortunately, Bradley Hamilton is like an order of french fries: you just can't have one. It appears our lips are addicted to kissing. He's alarmingly handsome. Deliciously confident. And worst of all? Underneath that salty exterior he's starting to show signs of sweet.
Brad Hamilton is my guilty pleasure, my cheat meal, my greatest craving.
Which is why he'll be one habit that's hard to kick.

3 incredibly long stars for HANGRY GIRL.
Bradley Hamilton has been in love with Lexi Monroe since they were kids. After a falling out that left them ignoring one another for 3 years, getting stuck in an elevator together seemed like a nightmare. When Lexi becomes hangry while waiting to be rescued, Bradley offers her his burger for a date. She reluctantly agrees, but it's just the opening they both need to mend fences and find out if they have any chance as a couple. After months of reconnecting, the couple is ready to take things to the next level, but a real estate deal could be a dealbreaker for their future.
You know, HANGRY GIRL wasn't too bad, but it's not fabulous either. The title gives off a fun vibe, but the book went on and on (and on) for so long about the most mundane things that I had a tough time getting through it. Bradley was sweet as hell, but Lexi? She was a grade-A bitch. I couldn't get behind the reason she, her brother and Bradley all broke up either, it was silly and made me roll my eyes. And for that matter, why the hell won't she respect his wishes and call him BRAD like he asks?! I really wish I could've connected with these characters and this story, but HANGRY GIRL just didn't do it for me.
Bottom Line: No OM/OW or sharing; condom use; no BDSM/kink; no sexual assault; no violence/murder.
