Book 3 of Bad Behavior
Action/Adventure Romance, LGBTQ

After too many years of putting his job first, Detective Andreas Ruffner is getting his priorities straight. He's ready to spend some quality time with his adult kids, not to mention come clean about some things he should've told them a long time ago. And introduce them to his partner and boyfriend, Darren Corliss.

But in a heartbeat, a family dinner turns into Andreas's worst nightmare. When the dust settles, one of his kids is hurt, and the other three have been abducted.

Andreas is going to find his kids, and nothing, not even a broken ankle, is going to stop him. Thank God for his sharp, level-headed partner . . . who has a crisis of his own pulling him away when Andreas needs him the most. As both men try to support—and lean on—each other, they get no closer to finding the kids. And the longer the children are missing, the less likely it is they'll ever be found.

RECKLESS BEHAVIOR was such an intense book, impossible to put it down. I loved it. This series is proving to be so much more than I expected and every installment gets better than the previous one. I really wasn't prepared for the level of action in this one.

Andreas is finally trying to spend some time with his sons and daughters and get them to meet his boyfriend, Darren. But a special family night became the worst night of his life, when his kids get abducted and now Andreas and Darren have to do the best they can to find them and get them back.

This was an amazing book. It was really fast paced. It has a high level of action that make it really hard to put down. There isn't a moment when there isn't something important going on or being revealed. Sometimes I even felt bad for these two, because they haven't got time to recover from one hit when the other was coming their way. It was remarkable.

One of the things I loved the most about it was the fact that while it might not be an overly romantic book, but the love was so present the whole time. The way Darren and Andreas support each other was endearing. They always seem to know what the other needed. There might not be much romantic scenes involved in this installment, but a soft kiss, a hug when needed or other affectionate gestures were enough to show us how much they care for each other.

The family issues were something I appreciate so much. It made them more human. The families were great. I loved every single family member. The authors might not take too much time introducing all of them to us, but the little interactions they shared with the main characters were enough to care for them. I was particularly heartbroken for Asher's situation, most of all because it seem painfully accurate.

Overall RECKLESS BEHAVIOR was an amazing book. Absolutely recommend it for readers who love action.
