BDSM, Erotic Romance, LGBTQ
At thirty-one, Bryce is a damned good attorney, but it feels like that's all he's got going for him right now. He's just about given up on finding a boyfriend, much less a submissive, and his dreams of being a father look increasingly slim. Then mutual friends in the Suncoast Society take over.
Dustin is relatively new to the area. The realtor thinks his friends are wasting their time fixing him up, especially since Bryce is fifteen years younger than him. No younger guy has ever wanted him before. Except this feels like forever in a scary-fast way. Bryce is not only okay with Dustin not wanting kids, he's also the Dom of Dustin's dreams.
Enter Kira, Bryce's lifelong best friend. She's about to make Bryce's dreams come true with a devastating price. Dustin knows he owns Bryce's heart, but can he accept the guy he loves marrying a woman whose last wish is that Bryce be by her side?

Ever read a book and think it is going to go one way and then it switches on you? In OUR GRAVITY, the book blurb gives a glimpse into how it will turn out, and yet it is still a shock. This book may be later in the series but it can still be read as a standalone. The family-like community increases as the kinky matchmakers bring Dustin to Bryce's attention.
Bryce and Dustin's tentative relationship is sweet. They are just getting to know each other and it seems they are a good match. Of course, Ms. Dalton needs to throw them a curveball. Bring in Kira. Kira is a sweet woman in trouble. After learning her situation, I know this is going to be a train wreck. There are so many barriers and issues for Bryce, Dustin and Kira; I'm not seeing a good ending here. And yet, Ms. Dalton creates a complicated tangled web only to easily un-knot it with an acceptable ending. I won't say this is exactly a happily ever after. I like to think of this story as realistic situations and people making the best out of it. There are compromises in life. Sometimes hard lines may end up being softer lines. Sometimes a person's plans and dreams of a future are forced to change or shattered into pieces. This could apply to both Dustin and Kira. What they do to make it all work out at the end is impressive because there is sacrifice across the board, for all three of them and this is what moves me and tugs at my heart strings. This is an emotional book where three people come together and make the best of out of what live has dealt them. There are times they rage and times they just break down and sob on each other's shoulders.
With all the tears, it is surprising to see the BDSM dynamic between Dustin and Bryce. The kink is as always, delicious and well done. It adds a nice flavour to this story because it lightens up the mood and sometimes, provide a nice escape from the harshness of reality. I'm really hoping Ms. Dalton will give us a glimpse of how things turn in several years down the line. This erotic romance is recommended to readers who enjoy heavy plots and best friends who would do anything for them.
