From the beloved and bestselling author of the Ransom Canyon and Harmony, Texas series comes a powerful, heartwarming story about generations of family and the ironclad bonds they forge

Jillian James has never had a place she could call home. So when she lands in the sleepy Texas town of Laurel Springs, she's definitely not planning to stay—except to find a few clues about the father who abandoned her and destroyed her faith in family.

Connor Larady is desperate: he's a single dad, and his grandmother, Eugenia, has Alzheimer's. He's the only one around to care for her, and he has no idea how. And now he has to close the quilt shop Eugenia has owned all her life. When Connor meets down-on-her-luck Jillian, he's out of options. Can he trust the newcomer to do right by his grandmother's legacy?

Jillian is done with attachments. But the closer she grows to Connor and Eugenia, the higher the stakes of her leaving get. She has to ask herself what love and family mean to her, and whether she can give up the only life she's ever known for a future with those who need her.

Reading a nook by author Jodi Thomas is like curling up with a warm cup of coffee, snuggled up in a favorite blanket.

With MORNINGS ON MAIN, Ms. Thomas creates a new cast of Texas characters sure to create a lasting impact. What happens when a woman with no roots comes face to face with a man who is dedicated to his hometown and his hellion of a daughter?

Ms. Thomas uses a quilt shop as the foundation for a beautiful story as Jillian learns about the town's history one square at a time. In the process, she gains insight about the town's inhabitants, making her wonder about finally settling down in one place.

Connor is drawn to the mysterious Jillian, but convincing her that life doesn't have to be lived out of a suitcase is a daunting task. With the help of his spunky grandmother and feisty daughter, Connor gives Jillian every reason to stay--even helping her find out more about her traveling heritage.

With a rich cast of characters, Ms. Thomas has penned yet another beautiful story that celebrates the beauty of love. Laurel Springs is a vivid depiction of small-town America where life is lived to the fullest without the hustle and bustle of the big city.

Once again, Ms. Thomas has left readers with a story that is a delight to the senses.
