Contemporary Romance, Erotic Romance, Ménage or more
Candice has plans for her future. She is going to become a nurse, eventually find herself a nice man to marry, and lead a quiet, middle-class existence utterly devoid of emotional super highs and super lows. All of this makes perfect sense…right up to the time the town's ultra-alpha policeman decides to make Candice his own.
On that very same day, the boomtown's most gorgeous oilman billionaire also decides that Candice is the woman he needs to make his life complete. When passion erupts, unplanned and most definitely uncharacteristic, Candice's life is thrown into chaos.
Can Candice find fulfillment and lifelong love in the arms of two men so opposite from one another? Can these men, so strong in their own rights, share their love for Candice?

Pretty Woman meets New Oslo, North Dakota. Well, not exactly, but a working girl is swept off her feet by a powerful and rich businessman. If that isn't enough, a hot cop is thrown into the mix for a fiery sexfest.
Candice is a waitress at her grandparents' diner when the most eligible bachelor, Dylan, starts to flirt with her. A consummate lady's man, Dylan is shot down by Candice who is looking for a real relationship and a career in nursing. Not one to be denied, Dylan is intrigued and pursues harder. When Candice's resistance breaks down and she agrees to meaningless sex, Sergeant Herndon, known as Bulldog, makes a hard play for her.
Candice's sexual dry spell ends with a downpour of hot sex between the two men. Too bad Dylan and Bulldog do not know she's seeing both of them and one of them seems to be receiving sloppy seconds. Overwhelmed with the flattering desires of both men, Candice is unable to make a decision or come clean. When the truth is revealed with her in handcuffs in a compromising position, the result is not as expected. This story should really be renamed to "Sextasy".
Ms. Gideon creates two hot studs that had me drooling. The combination of a successful, powerful businessman and an authoritative, strong cop just about overloaded my circuits. The story is not one sex scene after another, although I wouldn't complain if Ms. Gideon continues to create such vivid and hot sessions. I enjoyed Ms. Gideon's writing voice and I found her villain in the story believable.
I wasn't quite sure how she was going to resolve the threat to Candice's life. It was satisfying, albeit jarring, how Candice's two men neutralize the threat. The bloodthirsty imp in me found it to be quite delightful.
