"How can you remember someone you've never met?"
Megan and Cassidy were childhood sweethearts who thought they would be together forever. Fate had other plans. Soon after they were married, Cass's life was tragically cut short. Still grieving five years later, Megan moves from Phoenix to the small town of Seaside, Oregon, hoping to rebuild her life.
Her first night there, she meets the town recluse, Theo. Withdrawn, guarded, and mysteriously silent since a terrible accident left him scarred, Theo takes an instant and inexplicable dislike to Megan. But as their paths cross again and again, Megan becomes convinced there's more to Theo than meets the eye.
When she discovers the reason for his silence, his nightmares, and especially his pointed dislike, Megan becomes convinced of something far more astonishing.
Is a second chance at a once-in-a-lifetime love possible, or is a broken heart the cruelest kind of liar?

5 lightning bolts full of the feels for MIDNIGHT VALENTINE!
After 5 years of mourning her husband Cass, Megan Dunn decides to persue the dream they once had, moving to Seaside, Oregon, to renovate a Victorian B&B. Unfortunately, the only contractor who agrees to help her is Theo, a huge hulking hometown hero…who won't speak and seems to loathe her at first sight. Nobody is sure what happened to Theo in "the accident," but even though Megan is curious, Theo is not her business. Until the two start getting to know each other, and the coincidences between Cass and Theo can't be denied. Is Megan crazy, or is fate trying to tell them both something?
This.Book.Is.CRAZY! Crazy, insane and extraordinary. Intense and sexy and frightening and mind-blowing. I loved every single little thing about MIDNIGHT VALENTINE, from the brooding and mute Theo to the sarcastic and sad Megan. Their story is just…wow. It's not anything I've ever read before, especially in a romance novel, but I want more. More of the coincidences, more of the memories, more of the bizarre connection between two strangers that makes no sense at the same time that it makes perfect sense. I sincerely didn't want this book to end!
Like grief, pleasure comes in waves. It builds and recedes and builds again until it crashes over you. Then you either swim, or drown. I've ridden hundred-foot-tall waves of grief – cresting the top so I can see the endless line of waves waiting to roll in before tumbling to the bottom and starting the ride up all over again – so I know how to survive without going under.
What I didn't expect was pleasure that could surpass the height and power of those waves of sorrow. I didn't expect I would so gladly stop treading water so I could drown.
I just can't spill anything about this book, because you seriously have to read this gorgeous love story for yourself. I've been a fan of Ms. Geissinger's books for awhile, but this simply surpasses anything I've read by her yet. Go get this one STAT!
Bottom Line: No OM/OW or sharing; no condom use; no BDSM/kink; no sexual assault; no violence/murder.
