RULE #1: Never apply for a promotion while drunk.
"Four margaritas and two Sandra Bullock movies down, and Jen and I are sloshed."

RULE #2: Never spill your margarita on your laptop and accidentally hit send on an email telling your boss to shove his promotion up his…
"For your information, my name is Ms. Bishop, not Mrs. The last time I checked, there is no wedding ring on my talented finger. In fact, my fingers are so talented, they're probably better suited to flipping you off than typing up blathering gossip about B-list celebrities. You can take your promotion and shove it up your tight, shriveled asshole. I will have a wonderful weekend, using my talented fingers to look for another job, while you use yours to jerk yourself off."

RULE #3: Never attempt to salvage your career by pretending to be your boss's wife.
Or more importantly, allow yourself to be blackmailed into pretending to be your boss's wife.

RULE #4: Never, ever fall in love with your boss.
Unless you want that happily ever after in Cassia Leo's RAISE YOUR GAME.

We've all read billionaire/fake marriage stories and I have to say that I enjoyed Ms. Leo's take on the trope. I liked both Logan and Sophie and thought they were a good match for each other. Sophie's friends were the perfect feed off her angst and Logan's brother/sister-in-law made for great antagonists. The story moved at an even pace and I found it both engaging and entertaining. And their sessions at the resort bounced between laugh out loud funny to sinfully sexy. If you're looking for an easy read that will leave a smile on your face, then definitely check out RAISE YOUR GAME. And while you're at it, have a look at Ms. Leo's backlist. You might find something else of interest.
