SUMMARY
Five Gates. Five Sisters. Five Very Different Men.
Once there were two worlds connected by five gates. Then the Gate Keepers closed the gates and disappeared. The Gate Keepers have returned.
Arriana Quinones failed to save her king from the poison that killed him. Now her nephew is suffering the same malady. When her search for a cure leads her through a gate into a world of magic, she discovers that the gods' plans for her stretch far beyond finding an antidote.
Treves Tourbillon and his people gave up hope of ending their curse. Then Arriana saves his life. While those around him are convinced she is the prophesied key, Treves fears she'll be the curse's next victim.
Can Arriana and Treves find the antidote, end the Manticore curse, and take their place as the Desert Gate's next Keepers, or will the forces working against them prevail in the end?

DIOMERE'S HEALER is the second book in the Gate Keeper Chronicles, and we travel with Arri as she tries to find the elusive plant that will heal her nephew from the same deadly curse that killed his father.
Oh my, there are so many fantastic characters in this book, and I want to hear more from ALL of them!!! I'm not quite sure how Ms. Fish is going to accomplish that, but still. Although this was Treves and Arri's book, I absolutely adored the verbal interplay between Kardia and Kristiano. I think Kardia's book is next, and I'm already wanting it! It's going to be a long, hard wait for me, I think!
As per the first book, the writing style is easy to read, and the pace flows smoothly. I was happy to see a cameo from Nadia and Gregor, with a snapshot of how they are now. Full of emotions, I found this book to be a perfect addition to the series, and I have no hesitation in highly recommending it.
Bring on the next!!! 😊
