UNWRAPPING SCROOGE is a wonderful short story about a closeted English author named Kale McKinnon, who is unsure about letting two Canadian college students lease a flat in his building, and messing up his harmonious living situation. Over time he comes to have a friendship with Molly Gills.

Molly is a friendly and quiet history major who is in England to finish her thesis and is loveable from the start. Molly finds Kale wonderfully intriguing and finds her chance by making him breakfast every morning. A budding friendship turns into much more as Christmas rolls around with surprises to come for Kale and Molly. Expertly written with a great story line and wonderful ending, I didn't want it to end.
