Patience Weber has no intention of marrying any of the bachelors and instead uses the passage to the Washington Territory to escape her penniless life in Boston. She never intended to catch the eye of Adam Steele and his mysterious manservant, Raven. When she does, her secret is blown and the brothers who paid for her passage insist on repayment. With no way to repay the debt she's incurred, Adam makes her an offer she has no choice but to accept—marry him, live in the house he shares with his brother, and he'll pay off her debt. She agrees and discovers that Adam shares more than the house with his brother. The brothers learn that falling in love with Patience is their virtue.

Patience Weber escapes her penniless life in Boston by answering a "Brides Wanted" ad, but has no intention of marrying anyone in the Washington Territories. Even as she tries to remain in the background while among the other brides, she attracts the attention of Adam and his ever faithful manservant Raven. After being discovered, and having to way in which to repay her debt, Adam offers marriage as means of repayment and she accepts as she had no other choice. Patience is their virtue as they both fall in love with her, and all their futures are intertwined.
The story is third in the Brides Bay Bachelors series, and Patience Weber has come a long way from Boston to start her whole life over. Her desire to hide behind the brides that were brought to this small town is made difficult when she is discovered by Adam Steele, the mayor. She tries to appear as one of the brides, yet it is not long before Adam discovers the reason behind her lurking in the shadows of the other brides.
In order for Patience's debt to be resolved she must marry Adam Steele. The passion between Patience, Adam and Raven is stoking the fires of their ménage and the bond between the three grows stronger. As the three grow into their relationship, the town stirs with a growing discontent. The malcontent unmarried bride Constance blends her evil nature with Petty, another town troublemaker. The duo continues to connive against Adam Steele's position as the town's mayor and founder, and continues to stir the citizens among one another.
This story is wonderful mixture of romance, sexual scenes that burn the pages, and evil villains that threaten the trio's future together. I have read all three of the Bachelor Bay series, and this one pushed all of the emotional buttons for me. A great series that get the readers all hot and bothered, and the promise of a satisfying read. I look forward to reading more of Eve Adams' books as I had a very hard time putting this book down until I was finished.
Note: This is the continuing series of the Bachelor Bay Series. Readers would be advised to read the books "The First Bride Bachelor Bay 1" and "The Husband Contract Bachelor Bay 2". Characters from the previous books carry over into this book, and plot line would be easier to understand.
